Luka leads all rate-qualifying players in shooting within 3ft of the rim at 83.8% (per Basketball Reference). Interestingly and unsurprisingly, he’s also only made two dunks, less than 1% as many as league leader Giannis who also appears near the top of at rim FG% list.

Look at those percent assisted numbers at the end there too. It’s crazy
I love it, and firmly believe Luka’s game should always start with getting to the rim, and counter with open-ish “jump”shots if the rim is taken away. So I’d gladly trade a few percentage point of rim finishing fg%, for a bit more rim attempts moved there from midrange, or even triple.
Curious to know if the distance is measured from where the shooter leaves their feet OR from where the ball leaves the shooters hand.

Similar to his second season when he was at his slimmest. He gets to the rim with ease at this weight, although it is probably more taxing on his body than the post ups in his bulkier seasons.
Was not expecting Jokic to be missing from this list.
People keep posting these giant stat sheets for Luka trying to convince themselves he should be the MVP (yes he should be) but it’s never going to happen. They’re already giving it to Jokic or SGA, Luka is easily level or two above SGA, but the difference is, pundits hate Luka, we’re not in first place and we have kidd holding this team back. At this point the only thing that matters to me is finishing with the 6th seed at least and making a run despite Kidd. I would especially be confident that we could beat the Thunder if we were to face them in the postseason. If SGA was to get the MVP it would be absolutely sweet poetic justice to knock their asses out of the playoffs with the real MVP playing lights out. We just need to keep winning to get that 6th seed and make a run.

He’s for sure a baby goat lol, I don’t know wether or not I want him to play for the Lakers though Dallas seems like the perfect place for him in someway.
