Itās a silly list if they have Scoot ranked but not DA. Obviously theyāre considering āpotentialā, which is super subjective, over what theyāve accomplished in recent history, which is more objective. I donāt even think Ant is necessarily better than DA

I donāt think itās that unreasonable tbh. Having said that, credit to him for turning his season around

Heās a top 10 center
RadarDataL8R
I’d think the list between, say, 70-200 is basically a roll of the dice. Average to slightly above average, mostly interchangeable players. He would fit anywhere in that range on any given day.
pwndnoob
Borderline top 10 center (historically on the better end like 8th) whose doing same thing he’s always done.
Like is he comfertably above average for a starting center? If so, ya he’s top 100, and 50-60 where they use to place him is still true. But after about 70 on the list it becomes middle of bell curve and they gives spaces to winning and big market teams.
LazyHater
He had a really bad season. He’s 135th in VORP, 112th in BPM. He’s 87 in WS/48. The fact that he’s off the list is clear recency bias. Fuckin Hartenstein is *not* a better player than Ayton. Having Vucevic over Ayton is ass too. Either one of them would need picks attached to be traded for Ayton.
I dont agree with all the rankings or anything but he should at least be 70.

He probably should be on the list, but the dude has some of the worst PR in the league. It’s just too engrained in the NBA consciousness that he went over Luka at 1 and he makes some boneheaded plays that get memed plus he makes too much money.
jables1979
Well, if you look at fantasy bball (not real life) he’s currently 104, mostly to do with lots of missing games. Which is fair. My dude needs snow tires.
Usually he’ll sit somewhere between 70-80
applejackhero
Realistically with the talent pool in the league, being a starting center should make you top 100, and Ayton is probably just outside the top 10 centers right now.
BlazersGotNext
Anyone saying Ayton is a top 10 center or even close to that is delusional. Heās not even the best player on the team. Doup Reath has been a more interesting player to watch and is probably a more valuable player than Ayton based on contracts
Frosti11icus
He’s not better than Brodgdon who is 96th, so there you go. He’s probably like 103 or something though.
