lol are we really doing this? The Sixers equivalent of paying a top dollar RB on the 2nd half of their career (after generational o line retires no less) would be signing Al Horford to backup Joel again for $15M/year

Ironic, since signing a RB is basically like signing Tobias Harris.
The RB position has no impact at all on winning games and any resources spent on it are a waste. That’s not even mentioning the fact that Saquon Barkley is never healthy.

Howie works for a competent owner and organization. Morey wasn’t handed much when he took over. Still, he’s not without his criticisms. If we can’t field a championship contending team next year, he has to go.

I don’t want the essence of the Sixers rubbing off on Howie.. I would rather Howie set up a mentorship for the other GMs in town
