I know tonight wasn’t Ingram’s fault… but we’re gonna have to move on from the guy if he’s going to decide to just not shoot 3’s.

We can’t live or die every game on whether or not CJ or Trey are going to be able to hit 3’s.

  3. Welp we blew that one. Doesnt matter tho cause even if we won some nerd online would discredit it because they are missing Mobley lol.

On to the Clippers. Maybe we just decided to get our Friday night home game dud out the way early this week.

They have to have something going on internally with the coaching staff and jhawk. Jhawk wasn’t tryna play like a teammate. Bro was just shooting like it was a pick up game. I am not condoning it. But when you know you can make an impact but they only put you in on trash minutes what else are you supposed to do. He was doing right but then got benched once Trey got back. Idk bro they gotta have something going on.

Would be cool if JV could actually get to play.

Don’t overreact. It’s just a 20 point home loss almost fully healthy

Top two came to play. You want nights like this on *both* ends from Z and BI. Especially Z hitting FT’s and hustling up and down the court

If CJ is dealing with something he needs to tell somebody and let Hawk play. I could give a fuck about toughness or leadership. If you can’t play effectively then sit.

  8. Do you guys think we oughta trade Zion before he plummets?

  9. Biggum225

Damn, sure wish we had 3 point shooters on our bench. Right Willie?

  10. Infinite_Response113

This team isn’t built for the playoffs–we’re definitely getting bounced the first round sadly

Well….that was fucking pathetic. Let’s not mince words. That was awful. What the actual fuck was going on with the 3 point shooting tonight? And then fucking abandoning it entirely there? And Willie refusing to change the line up any when it was clear that the Larry/Naji/Jose grouping was just not working tonight? Jesus christ on a cracker. Winning might soothe everything but losing like this reminds you of all the issues it was soothing over. Though granted. Even in some of our other losses the 3 point shooting wasn’t anywhere near as abysmal as it was tonight. Also can someone explain to me why BI doesn’t shoot 3s? I get why Zion doesn’t. He’s admitted that’s an issue he has. But what’s up with BI and not really shooting them? Anyone know?

  12. This is why I wanted this game to confirm everything. Beating awful or injured teams is Ok, but once again failed at home vs a good team (which is also injured)

I think Zion and BI did mostly what they could. Just no real consistent production outside of *maybe* Herb on the defensive end, and even then he picked up too many fouls early.

20-45 to 4-22 from 3 disparity is just hilarious. And 2 of those made 3s by the Pels were in the last like 3 minutes when it was a 25 point deficit.

Rude awakening after beating up on make a wish teams. Hopefully Willie learns something from this but I have my doubts.

Also worth noting: CJ was +6 and Zion was -22. This is a plea by me to banish single game +/- from basketball discourse.

Normally I’d cope by being a smartass but 18% from 3? That’s not even worth bitching about. See y’all Friday.

  15. Turbo_S54

Didnt watch but I see a lot of bad box score.. Willie doing Willie things?

Everybody not named Zion and Brandon played like dogshit on both sides of the ball. As always too much helping on drives, leaving guys open. Still freezing Z out of the offense at times is crazy considering he was doing all the work lol. And man the lack of 3s hurt, normally I’m not one of the people that complains about not playing shooters but the reason why we lose most of the time is because no one is knocking down shots and the other teams get buckets in transition. Why not play the shooters and live with the bad defense because it’s going to suffer anyway. Blah oh well onto the next game. Now time for the complete overreaction from the doomers and the ones who only show up during an L.

  17. Zion got targeted on defense. His 1 on 1 defense is so horrible. He played good on offense though.
