Steph’s not there and even when he is there they I think the team just relies on him way too much but that’s understandable because he’s Steph Curry um but when you don’t have him you don’t have Draymond I expected this result in fact I gotta be honest the the loss is

Closer than I thought it would be yeah well it was because the the Warriors defense showed up and look the Mavericks I don’t know if like they weren’t as motivated as they normally were like any other team if they’re going to see The Warriors not having step and not having

Dre chances are their enthusiasm their you know their motivation their incentive is going to drop a little bit they’re probably going to take the opponent lighter than they normally would and maybe that’s what happened the Mavericks were not playing great in this game at all again the 109 points that

One for six so I mean the Mavericks just weren’t hitting shots I mean you make a few more of those and a 10-point game suddenly becomes a 20-point game you know um but what here’s one thing well let’s start with this man um and this is just

This is what stuck out to me the most in a night where Stephen Curry and Draymond Green are not playing this team has a lot of other veterans and these other veterans are players that Kerr has routinely exhibited favoritism toward and two years ago rightfully so but this

Year uh Klay Thompson is a shell of himself Andrew Wiggins shell of himself I know WI for example tonight finish the game with 17 points but seven of those 17 came in garbage time in the fourth quarter um you know when they when they needed him the most at the start of the

Fourth quarter uh the Warriors didn’t uh score until with about eight minutes to go I mean the first four minutes of the fourth quarter was just a huge nothing Burger literally offensively until Trace Jackson Davis got a lob from Gary Payne II and slammed home a dunk but I’m

Looking at at Wiggins I’m looking at at clay I’m looking at Chris Paul I’m looking at um Dario shich who is now turning out to be just a just a irrelevant as a free agent signing he was doing so good early in the season and and now you know he’s his shots just

Not going in he didn’t put up a three-point shot tonight but he’s playing garbage time minutes my point is is that when you look at the weakness of this Warriors team take Steph out of the out of the equation take Draymond out of the equation all the remaining veterans

Are not who they once were man they they are they’re a sh of themselves and that’s what happens when years go by you know who who knows what else is going on in in each of their you know personal lives but they’re not who they were and

You know at a certain point I I do feel like even with with Moses Moody for example he got in foul trouble tonight and I think that’s why we didn’t see him get more than 19 minutes but you gotta start you got to start giving these

Young guys more of a shot I mean the the veterans are the reason why the Warriors are just three games above 500 right now that’s what I saw from tonight game I I saw veterans who the team desperately needed to step up with Steph and Dre out

And instead Klay Thompson three of 13 from the field two of seven from Beyond The Arc in 27 minutes eight points total Wiggins I mentioned before he did he did finish with 17 which is still not that big of a number for a player who’s making the second most money on the

Roster but 10 of those 17 were in minutes that mattered again he scored those final seven at the end of the game when it was it was a wash and he was one for four from Beyond the AR this three-point shooting was really the only thing that I was excited about with him

And even that didn’t come through uh Chris Paul um you know nine points in 31 minutes the veterans are are cooked man I don’t know how else to say this and and as and I don’t know if like Steve Kerr thinks that they have just a little Gusto remaining for the postseason but

What are your thoughts on that man am I am I being overly harsh what do you think about the veterans yeah I would say they’re not they’re not performing very well but neither are the younger players or they’re not or they’re just not being utilized properly I guess I I guess you

Could say I mean the youngest I mean the most productive guy in the florid tonight for the Warriors with John the kaminga and he’s finally coming into his own eight of 17 from the Flor two of two from three and nine of 10 from the line

I mean he had a very solid night tonight but he was pretty much it and even though he did have a solid night I mean up and down the board everybody’s a minus in the plus minus category and he was a minus six but yeah Wiggins

Production I mean 17 points is not I mean that’s okay that’s not great I mean you expect more out of your starting out of a starting player but you could say that about anybody outside of kaminga tonight I mean Trace Jackson Davis had 10 points M clay had eight Chris Paul

Had nine um and Chris Paul again continues to his pattern of you know not being able to make three-pointers but he shoots them anyway although at least tonight it was somewhat disciplined he only took four of them so it’s not too bad one of four from distance is not is

Not great but for him I’d say that’s an accomplishment um yeah overall the production wasn’t very good I mean nobody in the bench did anything Brandon pjy actually had 11 points Off the Bench but overall the bench points were light and the the starting lineup was light

And again when you take all those things into account the fact that they only lost by 10 points again is kind of a minor miracle yeah um it was and when we come back we’re going to talk about the standings I do want to praise kaminga again I thought I thought he was

Fantastic and he was trying to carry pretty much this whole team on his back tonight but he’s still a very young player and Ryan I I want to get your opinion on Brandon pky I I don’t know what to say about him there I mean I

Think the future is very bright but I also don’t know if he’s ready to be getting the amount of minutes that he’s getting he’s fourth on the team in minutes total there are nights where he’s number one or two in minutes but the hustle is there he’s a tough kid um

Was he was a guy who played with lots of intensity and lots of passion and and I think that served him well but he was he was a role player and that difference between psky and kerr is that psky is getting a lot of minutes as you said and
