He’s not wrong, and frankly this is a testament to what a lot of ya’ll have been ignoring: PG isn’t even close to elite defensively (or offensively) anymore.
He’s *good* on both sides, and that’s valuable because lengthy two way players are tough to come by, but he’s not locking anyone down anymore nor is he easily beating good defenders. He’s a soft defender now who also gets beat by speed and athleticism, and he while he can blow by bigs (like Naz Reid) he was getting locked down in isolation against FVV

Yall need Tobias Harris back, swap him for PG

For this team to have a chance they need Harden and PG play to their capabilities, Mann and Coffee to play aggressive on both ends and Zu to play strong. I know what we are getting if Kawhi is healthy. PG and Harden have both been bad on defense and offense (Harden is more useful with his ball handling and creating). Need to turn it around

This is why there are very few teams that are successful once they reach 32+ for their main core. You simply cannot have all guys be very vulnerable on the defensive end.
Look at how the last few championships where won:
– Bucks: insane defensively – Warriors: Wiggins and Green going berserk against opposition that supposed to “cook” them. – Nuggets: Turning it on each time they needed in the playoffs, low scoring game, very fast paced game, you name it.
People were seduced because Clippers were playing well offensively and sometimes defensively for two months but ever since they’ve been straight atrocious. The eye test really puts them to me at the bottom of the league. There are worst teams but mostly because they’re tanking or have guys that are only chasing stats (LeBron) and play 0 defense willingly.
