Dennis Schroder on D’Angelo Russell’s comments: “I don’t understand it. But at the end of the day, it just shows off immaturity. You’re not really mature if you’re just keeping somebody’s name in his mouth and just running it. I don’t understand.”

Dennis the menace fires back at Dlo’s recent comments, and he’s right imo. Let the past be the past?

  1. D’lo really made a fool out of himself and may have fucked the team chemistry for the season.

  2. Willing_Chemist8395

As a DLo fan, it was definitely immature. The whole article was unnecessary.

  3. LongTimesGoodTimes

I didn’t think D’Lo’s comment was really a shot at Dennis in the first place but I see why he responded. Just kind of a pointless back of forth at the end of the day though

  4. NichJackolson

I didn’t think it was a shot at Dennis necessarily, but the whole damn article seemed unnecessary. At best it was terrible timing

  5. HibachiGrill

The DLo article is going be an all-timer once he inevitably plays like Kendall Marshall 2.0 come playoff/play-in time

If this traffic cone is your starting point guard on a team trying to win a championship, just get ready for the offseason shitposts

  6. Responsible_Focus424

Dlo fans come get your man. He’s doing it again. Same shit different numbers.

  7. illtakethebox

It’s kinda sad how DLO says this stuff and then performs horribly the following game, like at least back up the shit talk

  8. Green-Session7085

Dennis is right. Dlo acting like Ham played Dennis only because of their relationship. Refuses to acknowledge he was UNPLAYABLE on the floor against Steph and against Denver which is why we played Dennis

  9. Zealousideal-Tea-837

I like Dlo and we’re from the same city so I cheer for him but he talks too much. And the Dennis comments were out of line. He came off like a hater.

  10. ohveeohexoh

i don’t think i’ve ever seen DLo play well after a quote hyping himself up gets circulated

  11. TorontoRaptors34

Darvin def showed favoritism toward DS but DS at least competes as a defender even tho he got cooked as much as DLO in the CF.

  12. tRuth_But_oNly

Dlo needs to stop talking. Holy shit. Just play the game.

  13. popcornpotatoo250

Is it Schroeder that he is talking about? Anyways, I would understand if he is talking about Cam or Prince. But Schroeder? That’s quite far for DLo. Schroeder has been solid and instrumental to the WCF run.

  14. Sad-Shoulder-8107

Schroder got that dog in him, we’ve seen him grind out wins for us when nobody else was doing anything after his ankle touched the earth, make clutch baskets when they really count and make end of game free throws to clinch a win. These are the reasons dlo was benched for schroder, and I can’t really blame Ham on that. He’s no starting point guard, but he’s a closer for sure.

  15. ValuableAssociate8

DLo need to stay off podcast and media until the end of the season. He stirring up drama for no reason

  16. slicknick2k

DLO’s a clown, get this guy off the team. Releases that article when the team is rolling. He sure backed up his talk going 0-7 through 3 quarters last game and playing 0 defense. Pathetic shit

  17. O V E R blown… Dlo was asked a question and he gave a reasonable, and what seems like from the outside, true response. I don’t think Dlo is ruminating on it or something, because like he said in the first article, he now has better communication w/ Ham.

  18. gratitudeisbs

I think he meant it as a shot at Ham not Schroder but the implication of what he said is that he’s better than schroder.

  19. Never thought Dlo’s comments were invalid, especially considering this shitshow of a coach, but pisses me off that he didn’t consider how this could affect the locker room and team chemistry during this crucial stretch to close out the regular season.

  20. I feel dlo Dennis was on damn near a minimum deal why is he on the floor splitting minutes especially if we needed more shooting something Dennis isn’t that good at

  21. cracklep0p

No Dennis slander. Ever. Love DLo but he’s corny for this.

  22. SameEnergy

What was the purpose of granting this interview at this point of the season? Zero upside move from dlo

  23. outsidehere

I don’t think that DLO should be angry at Dennis, he should be mad at Darvin

  24. AdvancedElephant

I don’t stand for schroeder hate man. I’d love him back here. DLO need to chill

  25. radracer82

I think DLo should’ve just kept it to himself, but he was just explaining the dynamic that was standing in DLo’s way.

Hurts to see my two sons fighting

  26. flatbushz7

Yall remember when dlo snitched out nick young way back lol?

  27. dj_cucumberslice

Man Schroeder played great defense on all the quicke little guards in the west like curry and lillard. I don’t see DLo and reeves doing that. Can’t wait til Vanderbilt gets back

  28. hunchoganggang

Russell needs to shut up and play basketball

Me to every side in this situation

  30. FckingJourno

Damn, I’m a DLo fan but isn’t this the kind of thing that lead to the front office trading him away in the first place after drafting him?

Dude hasn’t learned that there are certain things that stay in the locker room. A couple good months isn’t enough to make you indispensable when you’re publicly driving a wedge between teammates and the coaching staff.

  31. MarkedF0rDeath

Yeah I read the article and was like “Nah bro whyyyyyyyy” then was so disappointed when he followed it up with a 9-pointer against Sac. I’ll always be a DLo fan and he’s currently my favorite player since Kobe but he’s wrong for this. He didn’t need to name call but I guess he has to just to get his point across. Also, either I did not read the article fully but there wasn’t a “when” to all of this–as in when was this interview taken and also the timeliness of the publishing?

  32. Bravefan212

I can understand Dennis not understanding why he’s in this beef between pockets and dlo

  33. Showtime562

I’m not mad at dlo for talking his talk, but he’s gotta walk the walk. Way too inconsistent to be yapping. Play ball

  34. incredibleamadeuscho

It’s not immature to talk about what happened. What’s he supposed to do, not answer the question?

  35. Odd-Direction9452

Glad somebody said it. Anybody who talks as much about how mature they are to the extent that DLo does is definitely the opposite of that. He’s as much of a frontrunner as there is in the league and when he plays well for a stretch he talks as if everybody else was holding him back before. He just displays a complete lack of self awareness sometimes.
