  1. Fun re-watch with some interesting analysis. What sticks out immediately is how revolutionary the offensive and defensive concepts Kerr introduced was back then, yet how a lot of it was rooted in the past. What is most striking is how much the league has adopted these concepts. They were playing a different game compared to the rest of the league.

    One thing to note from the box score: Bogut started the game and played 17 minutes, Speights played 12, and Varajao 10. Meaning they weren’t playing small the entire game. Surprised not to see Bogut in the 4th, perhaps he was nursing an injury? I still prefer Draymond playing less 5 than he does now.

    This game brings back a hot topic from back then. Should the Warriors go all in on the regular season record, or should they pace themselves so they have juice for a push in June. I remember being the later category. They were putting a LOT of effort into winning games late in the season, you can see it in a game they could have easily let go, and they looked worn down by the finals.
