I remember people hating on AD for taking jumpers that season. Then come playoffs, that practice paid off when those were the shots being given to him by the defense.

I believe that AD is overthinking the position. I remember when Lakers coaching stagg saying they were going to make AD the 5. He said he didn’t want to. And Coaching staff had also said that there would be no limitations to his game. AD just puts himself in a box mentally.

Lower body injuries killed his lift. Lots of arm in his shot now. Just watch his film. He’s relying a lot more on his wrist and upper arm.

We had Dwight and McGee to take on Paint duties responsibilities and now we seem to barely sign Centers and any who do sign are so cheeks that AD has to be there.

He had to bulk up to play center and spends the game in physical post battles…that can mess with the touch on your jumper.
