Opinions of this because I’ve been rooting for Isaiah Thomas I know many of y’all have also been rooting for Isaiah Thomas now Isaiah Thomas has been going crazy in the G League since making his return about what two weeks ago now I know I know he played in four games
Averaging over 30 points he scored in over 30 points every single one of those games um he looked good I believe they said he’s 26 for 52 somewhere in that range from three I don’t have the stats in front of me of course but um shooting
At a high rate playing well and you know offensively that’s not really an issue for Isaiah Thomas you know defensively he is a liability there’s really no way around that but when you look at Phoenix and the sun’s team and the playoff push you’re trying to make right you get a
Guy who has high upside now he’s not going to be MVP candidate right that that we’ve seen in 2016 2017 bah Thomas could still be a guy to come off the bench and he have those games where he gets you 15 maybe he gets hot and gets
You 20 but he could be a threat on the offensive end and what do you know Phoenix suffer from depth they don’t have a lot they’ve been trying to piece it together as the season has gone on and add more dep pieces as they go but
They don’t have a lot of depth so getting a guy especially now when U Phoenix is trying to get healthy they’re trying to get ready to go for the playoffs you get a guy with experience you get a guy that has been there he he could score he’s likable a lot of his
Teammates like him um he’s likable in general I don’t think this is a lose situation for Phoenix um I’m happy for Isaiah Thomas now does this turn into a second 10day does you know this does he get a contract for the rest of the season I’m not sure we’ll
See how he performs I’m sure he will get a chance he will get some minutes and we’ll see what he does with those minutes but for a player like Isaiah Thomas to want to make that comeback to work hard and really not get opportunities but to finally you know
See himself back in the G league and trying trying to go the long route back but showcasing his talents I mean most players are now willing at that age with his accomplishments we know he has done it before go to the G league but a lot
Of players don’t want to go that route but he did and he played well and he’s being rewarded for it so we’ll see what happens I’m I’m super excited um as a Lakers fan of course you know you don’t want one of your rival team to get
Better but I do like just as a basketball fan um and Isaiah Thomas fan I like this move I like this move for him I like this move for Phoenix and we’ll see what happens 10-day contract um and we go from there does it does it
