    >I’ll revert to my old suggestion since 29 of 30 teams eventually end the season in some measure of disappointment.

    >I suggest always watching games for three reasons:

    1. In every basketball game you see, something will happen that makes you go “holy crap” because the athletes are so good, so look for that.
    2. Watch to give yourself a break from the stresses of life.
    3. Enjoy a game for the singularity of the competition rather than worrying about the big-picture standings.

    This is honestly really good advice.

    Younger folks love to dunk on Doug as being a cranky old man, but he knows the game well, has decent insight into the organization is a realist about the team and players successes and weaknesses.
