When you see the type of activity of interest in Risacher (French), then you know something is up. The Spurs are very interested in him. For the number 7 pick, without a doubt it's Buzelis. If he is not available, then Dalton Knecht, would be my next choice. We will pick up Trae Young this year, which should give us an excellent team (top 5 in West).
If the player is a yt American, he isn’t worth a #1 pick. Go with a European if you choose that route. Not tryna be raycist, history proves it.
Reed Sheppard would be a very good choice, he can run the point with a lot of poise and he is a very capable scorer with three point range. He scored 26 points against Tennessee last week. I also like Dalton Kneght the shooting guard from Tennessee, he scored 40 against Kentucky. I think Dalton is one of the best shooters coming out of the draft. I think we desperately need shooters because the Spurs struggle scoring and they have lost a lot of games do to poor shooting thanks!
I wont be mad if they will draft Reed or Zach .. if they draft Zach hopefully they will trade for a star PG

This is such a disappointing draft. Amen and Scoot would easily go #1 and #2 in it.
You should check Sheppard's game leading Kentucky past #4 Tennessee in Tennessee last weekend. Dalton Knecht (a guy I'd definitely be interested in if the Toronto pick conveys) dropped 40 on Kentucky that game but Sheppard could not miss from the three. Put up 27 pts, 6 reb, 5 ast, and even had a block while shooting 7-10 from the three point line. Sheppard looks like a very small 6'3" so will be interesting to see his combine measurements, but in this draft where every single lottery prospect has enormous question marks I don't know where the hell the to rank him. I'd be pretty surprised if they take Sheppard or Dillingham considering how allergic this team is to drafting small PGs in the first round since Tony in 01, but that led them to blowing a pick on Primo while they won five titles starting Tony and AJ so can't say I agree with their no small PGs stance.
I think Risacher has a pretty high floor thanks to his three point shooting, but he's been playing lousy lately. Do not want Holland at all, like a poor man's Julius Randle. Buzelis is shooting pretty terribly this year but has some intriguing upside given his size and passing and you gotta wonder if just being in that trash G-League Ignite program is the problem because he shot well from the three in HS. Pretty high risk, high reward prospect who was getting projected a lot as the top pick coming into this season.
I would love sarr and wemby to team up. But Topic fits so great with them 🥹 and we also have the resurgence of Risacher . another Frech prospect 🥲
But there's a lot of decent guards out there, so maybe Sarr should be the priority.

I think he is just throwing out a name for reaction. This year's mock drafts are all over the place regarding the first 6 -7 picks. I think this whole season has been an experiment to see what type of player they were going to pick in this year's lottery. We now know that Wemby is a 5, not a 4. I am a big Sarr fan, but will he be the best fit next to Wemby or are they looking for a playmaker or a lights out perimeter shooter? If Reed Sheppard shoots like the next Steph Curry it would make sense. It seems a little high for Reed. We will probably have a second lottery pick from Toronto so we could definitely draft him. Love his backcourt teammate in Rob Dillingham. Most of the mocks have him going before Sheppard. I am going to have a lot of fun watching Kentucky in the tournament.

Reed Shepard wouldn’t be a bad pick because we need facilitators. I believe we also need more size from a defensive standpoint as well. Wemby cannot be the only good defender under the rim
If you have both picks, take a SF first, and a PG with the No. 7 pick. Reed Sheppard, Rob Dillingham or Stephon Castle will still be there at 7. All solid upgrades.
Toronto pick had good odds until Jacob Poeltl got hirr early March, so pretty iffy now.. If it’s not there, take the best player available.
