Bad game by Jokic but this is ridiculous how they broke the 3 second defensive rule. Lively camped inside and not once did the refs call a defensive 3 seconds.. Dallas did it on purpose because they knew the refs wouldn’t ban it in their hall. That’s how they prevented the Jokic – Gordon connection and much more. That’s the recipe the Lakers used in the bubble. Several players camping on the edge 3 seconds in. That’s what the Clippers did in our defeat this season. We have to handle it better because apparently the refs tolerate it against Denver.
Also Reggie holds the ball tooo much. Killing the teamwork 🙄

The vibe was playoff energy and I loved it. It was a great battle with bummer ending. We’re still a top seed. It’s just one game in a string of great games. Coach is gonna a rip them a new one, they’ll collectively be mad at their own play and come out strong for the wolves which is a a bigger one.

Do some people not realize we are 11-2 sine ASB? That we are one of the hottest teams in the NBA at the moment? That we looked way worse last year towards the end of the season and still won the chip?
This was a very uncharacteristic game for us. As always we will rebound and be just fine. I’m just mindblown at this sub over any loss but even more moreso this time considering how good we’ve been. This felt like a scheduled loss to me, looking forward to the crickets from the doomers after the Minnesota game

Dallas grabbed 22 more rebounds, they shot worse than average from three, and Kyrie and Luka performed as expected.
Joker had a bad game (didn’t get a lot of calls he should have), and Jamal had a bad 3.5 quarters. KCP, CB and MPJ played well.
Clean up the rebounding and this wouldn’t have been close. That had 21 orbs lol. It’d be insane if we did pull that off with them getting essentially 15 more possessions than the nuggets.

So many points in the game where we just played completely terrible – mainly the reggie jackson terrorist stretch in the 3rd when we went down 9 simply because the spirit of will barton was released. Ball went their way every single shot on the boards, we played with weak hands today. Jokic and Jamal went 13/36. Lost by 2 off of some nazi bullshit hook

Good comeback. However, the final 28 seconds was atrocious. Doncic getting a wide open 3 off inbound, without Gordon getting picked or anything. Murray taking the shot way to early giving the Mavs a chance to win in regulation. Tip your hat to the Mavs, but too many situational mistakes by Denver (Gordon and Murray).
