Our 3pt shooting has been really bad & concerning, PJ, THJ, DJJ, Exum & Kleber are either throwing bricks & afraid to shoot
We can’t keep shooting like ass & leave the other team open especially come playoffs time, teams will adjust & start doubling Luka/Kyrie & give the role players the Giddey treatment

Well the fact is except Luka and Kyrie we don’t have good shooters, they are good at attacking the basket but bad shooters, we can only hope they get hot
Josh Green is our third best shooter and he only takes like 3 shots a game.
This is why it’s important to have Kyrie on the floor even if he’s not playing well. He’s the best 3 point percentage shooter on the team, so you need threats like that on the court.
And i know this sub hates THJ, but in those last second buzzer beater plays, he might be the third best option Mavs have right now.
We need to play Hardy more just for his spot up shooting especially with Green out for the next few weeks. Hardaway, Jones, Maxi and PJ just arenât getting it done from 3 and itâs messing with our spacing
Remove THJ, you will see huge difference in the average 
The problem is, thereâs a fine line between okay shooting and shit shooting, and this team canât find that line. If you give them the green light to shoot, theyâll chuck bricks for 48 minutes most nights. They need to learn to stop when itâs not going their way while not being afraid to still take shots when theyâre completely wide open.
This is lowkey a good thing. We have a winning record over that stretch. The identity changed from a team that lives and die by the three to now bully ball and crashing boards. When was the last time a mavericks team is dominating the paint?
There’ll be games where we will shoot lights out from deep. It’s good that we have other ways to win now instead of just relying from that.
Take me back to the 2022 playoffs when Kleber could hit 3s with his eyes closed…
These guys canât shoot but they can do other things. Iâm ok with that mostly but that could be trouble in the playoffs if teams just sell out on shooters
As long as Mavs give in to this Luka PG bs, the role players are just gonna be limited to spotting up but theyâre not good enough shooters for it.
Luka needs some accountability and to get away from this heliocentric bs
Hardaway went 5-9 one night, and 7-22 the next 4.
His 3PA are on a career-high pace, that’s ALL on coaching, man. He ***has*** be more selective. Enough of this “shooters gonna shoot” BS, he’s a 36% shooter in his career, that is **impressively** average.
He played 14 minutes and attempted 2 shots tonight. And we won. Not a coincidence.
That’s why I am positive about this team cause we been shooting awfully and winning games. If just start hitting our 3s it would be impossible for us to lose đ.
Nèeds to be number prority to get at least two automatic open three point shooter who can defend a little bit.
