Losing and losing in a pretty embarrassing way um yeah Memphis that’s the other team thanks Peter um yeah but honestly I mean I just keep rocking up and you know what it’s like honestly I think as net supporters we should be getting paid to watch this team play

Because right now it’s just a little bit dire to sort of have to put ourselves through this even though we don’t have to it just happens like that um but good to see you all in chat um yesterday I was late I just just um

Games in the association by playing like absolute [ __ ] against San Antonio I mean this is a game where not a lot of people will care only the supporters of both teams will care um those wanting to watch Victor wanyama um that’s probably one reason you watch this game

Um and if you’re a net supporter you’re just stupid so I’m putting myself in that category for watching this game um there may be a point where cuz I have some editing to do for another video I may just start doing the editing and you’ll probably notice I am doing it but

Um yeah I want to see how this first quarter goes this first and second quarters will dictate whether or not my interest levels are higher or lower in the back end of this match um the starting lineups as you can see the Nets are running um Bridges Thomas shudder finy Smith

Claxton same lineup as usual um and then the Spurs well they’re running a bit of a different lineup um they’re running theel uh wanyama soan Trey Jones and Shan pagne and I believe that is the same starting five that um yeah the same starting five that

Um faced us last time we played him what is ke toates deop doing getting a tribute video from the Spurs I know like I’ve seen he got the community assist award just watching the the um broadcast but really um 123 103 was the final score the last time we played the Spurs Vel

First game in Nets colors cuz that was the game he had 15 points 12 assists so um we’re going to need to see perform performances across the board that are better than what we’ve seen in recent times I mean cuz this this team is really [ __ ] up um quite badly

I mean they’ve had numerous opportunities to just get a few wins in the win column and make it a little bit more bearable I mean it’s it’s just like game after game this team disappoints like yesterday they were what they were down by two at half time they LED at

Quarter Time end up losing by above 20 and the second half was a a pretty gutless display if you if I’m being honest um really disappointing like box outs we we held the um yeah we held the paces to 63s that was all good and well until you

Look at the points in the paint we gave up the amount of shots extra we gave up the amount of um turnovers we had the amount of offensive rebounds we gave up just to just just to um cast your mind back and you probably want to forget

That game even existed if you’re a net supporter but um this is exactly what happened yesterday from a net standpoint lost the game by 21 after trailing by two and a half Pacers had two runs in the third and fourth quarters which combined for a 4312 run overall the Nets had 15 more

Free throws um shot 40% from three but here’s the isue 28 less shots 105 to 77 turnovers had 20 to 10 rebounds only got out rebounded by five but gave away five offensive five extra offensive rebounds 17 overall um gave away 82 paint points which is a franchise

Record um gave away 30 points to 16 off turnovers and then gave away uh 30 to2 second chance points 21 to2 in Fast Break points they got smashed in so many categories which are more indicative of how much hustle you’re playing with and right now this team is gutless don’t have any toughness

About him clax is hanging on the rim after every dunk which is just balse like it’s it doesn’t show any toughness at all in in fact it he looks pretty idiotic if you ask me when he does it because it like kills off momentum he’s

Hanging on the rim too long and he gets it with a technical fail so I I actually think for a little bit of fun to take the piss out of the Nets because that’s what I like to do when my teams play like [ __ ] I may have to do a

Compilation of Clacks just hanging on the rim and getting technical fails cuz that would be the ultimate piss take but you know what it’s pretty valid um but you know what let’s see what this team’s got first quarter I don’t care if it’s the Spurs um because time and time again this team

Has lost to teams inferior to them so no game is a given with this net team and if we win it’s a godamn achievement because I didn’t think this team would be capable of winning another game this season off the back off the back of the way they’re playing all

Righty first quarter about to get underway and uh Wy I’m not too excited for what this matchup May hold we could get absolutely killed by him so let’s see what the Nets have got I mean it’s it really starts with Mel Bridges I really don’t give a rat’s ass

How fatigued is or whatever we’ve played very few games this week um Mel Bridges has scored under 20 points in probably well four of you know for like for the last 15 games for every four or five games Mel goes under 20 points which is

Uh for a team where he needs to play well like it’s the way we perform is very much predicated on the way Mel plays he can’t afford to be doing that and defensively he’s been pretty lackluster as well let’s see what the Nets have got here and right off the

Brand a minute and a half into the game after that was one of one of our main issues yesterday shudder bounce past Glon down low tries to shuffle wanyama and air balled the [ __ ] layup wow Jones the drive kick out to vasel who pulls up for three and is short on

That one so board by finy Smith and now shudder using the Clon screen on the wing he’ll pull up for two wide open and it rattles out and a board for wanyama got to knock down those mid-range as if they’re going to play Drop coverage

When byy 3 rims out and the Nets with another chance to get into this very small deficit at the moment Mel’s going to roll when Bama back to the outside this is not going to end well cross gets into the paint moves through and the layup is no good but finny Smith with

The the followup gets the rebound and gets the layup to go and then the Spurs just throw it away cam Thomas will push the pace for the Nets it’s a 4 on four takes it inside scores off the window for two over soan and cam Thomas has got

An early Four Points in the opening couple of minutes of the game which is a good nice little start there by him Vel screen and switch oneon-one bounce past to wanyama the kick out to Jones in the corner and falling out of bounds he’s hit with a foul that is the softest foul

You will ever see and there was a similar foul called yesterday on one of the Pacers players where Cam Thomas got pushed into the back court they called a foul it was the softest thing I’ve ever seen in my life so shudder is going to get hit with

The first personal of the game for either side Vel inbounds or is going to get it here off the inbounds drive and we’ve got an illegal screen on wanyama and uh it’s going to be net ball so 9 minutes to play in this first quarter and the Nets up

6’4 decent early start I guess the Spurs are missing a fair few shots shot selection been a bit questionable cam Thomas pulls up for three and misses badly blackon nearly got the offensive rebound but it ends up with w Yama who hands it off to soan looking for the trailer wenyama oh my

Goodness and that’s that’s bro that’s where you just got to pack it up go home because wanyama bro that that is good [ __ ] luck CLX has got to be better than that you cannot allow wanyama to be leading the race to the other rim to the

Spurs Rim it’s it’s it’s it’s going to be curtains for you if you allow that easy run straight down the middle they’re going to honor that run every single time with the size of wenyama he barely needs to take like two steps inside the three-point line to get to the basket

So you’ve got to like lengthen the path for him to get to the basket and body him up be a bit more physical cuz he’s obviously very slim built shrew up three it’s back on laxton’s going to end up with the offensive board after sort of nudging the Spurs

Through Claxton and now cam Thomas can take it all the way inside there was an opening there and the Spurs a little bit of miscommunication and a lack of assertiveness meant that cam Thomas it was basically a cakewalk of a layup good cut there by

Really he has it but he can get easily pushed around in the post like you can just counter him pushing down on the defender by just pushing him back out really um and it makes it a little bit easy easier to defend um so yeah at the moment Nets off to a

Decent start um first time out of course called by the Spurs cam Thomas off to an excellent start he’s hit four of his first five um C Bridges I put him back in the spotlight I’m just trying to manifest I’m trying to see if he can actually

Have a good game um LAX has got three boards two assists we’ve already got a couple of offensive rebounds which is nice shooting the ball pretty decent at the moment um but cam Thomas is really spearheading that charge and uh the Spurs have five less shots um purely off the back of these

Brandham kick out to Johnson he’s got Dron on him decent match up for them branon does not care he just shot the three no hesitation from right in front of the Spurs bench but that was off as well and now the Nets will feed Dron in

The post he’s got vasel on him he’s going to back him down take it in shoot with the right hand and score with the right hand and the Nets up 10 again so they’ve scored 16 points in the paint which is obviously something that they were getting torched in the other day

Fan of that um the Spurs got eight from wanyama he’s said the two turnovers though so only played the Six Minutes been highly effective on the points front but yeah the turnover is probably not ideal for them and they aren’t shooting the ball too well that Calen Johnson

Three in the last last minute or so was their first make um on their ninth try they’ve had five turnovers so they haven’t really looked after it all too well not shooting it great um the second chance points good good good signs for the Nets um they’ve been highly um

In so the starters are all in for the Nets Osman catch and shoot three hits back on oh my [ __ ] God how easy is that bro thank God the Spurs aren’t good cuz they would be killing us those are the types of plays where we usually give up points very very easily

Glon the lob and the throw down scores for two and that’s a timeout great feed by cam Thomas bro this guy facilitation wise at the start of the Season man was seen as a bloke who could not pass now he’s throwing lobs now he’s got the chemistry with the bigs now he’s

Applying or he’s playing with confidence in that respect he’s exe executing um skip passes across the court getting doubled and is able to you know manipulate and manipulate the defense facilitate lead the way on offense and um fa to say that it leads to a better Nets team I mean I don’t

Know where we would be if Cam Thomas did not exist and it’s sort of crazy that this time last year we sort of had a little bit of indecision about what he could offer beyond the scoring element and this season we’ve seen strides in his facilitation um defensively he’s been

Better um but he’s still like has lapses where he doesn’t um where doesn’t like box out he’s too busy ball watching he allows easy cuts um that sort of stuff and that’s easily fixable you just have to be more alert and switched on you can’t really afford

To falter in those moments um the Nets are not shooting very well from three at all 18 damn per the Silver Lining is there nearly 50% um on the back of their absurd twoo shooting really attacked the basket at will today and Thomas has gone six of seven inside the three-point line

So that is a huge part of why the Nets are where they are and where they are is leading at the moment um which is a good sign Mel’s got 62 and two um turnover count it’s at five so probably want to tone those tone

Those down a little bit more um but yeah that is really the gist of things and from a Spurs perspective wanyama has got 10 but I think we’ve defended him well he’s a two technical free throws so that’s two of his points accounted for um and he’s had the two

Turnovers in there as well so in our first meeting when we played uh the Spurs and wanyama he wasn’t awful there either um but he was well held you know more so in the second half or no sorry the first half the second half I remember the third quarter he went

Four yeah that is baffling 17 fast break points to to 11 70 points in the paint at against a team with Victor wanyama and we didn’t even score 120 points so crazy amount of points coming from that um outlet and um points off turnovers 24 to

10 we killed them in all those areas but yet somehow still lost still lost the Spurs shot 24% from three had 17 turnovers had less shots and still won the game I don’t really know what to tell you Kellin Johnson had 24 points Vel 25 points when Bama had 33 167 and seven

Blocks the field goal percentage for us ended at 46% it was hovering at 50% until probably crunch time ultimately this is a game where you look at every statistical category and you almost have to say that we lost the unusable this was basically what happened yesterday against Indie we hold a team

As he was getting up flagrant foul they got a basket I think a three-pointer off of that so they sliced the lead from 10 to five in the blink of an eye after we had gone on like a 103 burst of our own that whole stoppage completely killed our momentum

And it equally got them well bang for their Buck on one possession immediately the lead was slashed and from then on you know our offense was really stunned so look this team just finds new ways to lose I’m not really that surprised um nothing but actors out there it’s not

Real basketball it’s a live performance a scripted act or play I’ll tell you what it is a live performance this net team honestly are entertaining as health are entertaining as hell for how [ __ ] they are it’s actually amazing um we don’t deserve to be in the plane picture
