Mitch to OKC. Who says no?

Mitch knows he’ll be brought back slowly and iHart has earned his PT, so for the rest of the season it makes all the sense in the world.

We have the best group of young guys in the league.

I know people are always knocking Mitch for having too small a bag but I also get the sense he is frustrated sometimes at his lack of opportunity on offense. I think he is serious that he’d be down to come of the bench because he thinks it’ll be a good opportunity for him to get to try to be more involved offensively.

It’s fine if Mitch comes off the bench for a bit. He’ll still play up to his minutes restriction no problem.

I think Mitch would be better coming off the bench. We have a low-scoring second unit, and Mitch’s D will help keep the other teams from making a run while our starters catch their breath.

Mitch and Hartenstein are best friends. I’m sure Mitch like anybody in that position would want to start, but I don’t expect it to be some big conflict between the two.
I’m sure he probably wants to put it on the floor a bit more like he’s tried out every once in a blue moon.

He’ll still get plenty of min and I think it’s more important to have someone a little limited on offense but a lock down defender coming off the bench anyway. Plus might keep him healthy

If he’s serious, we just clinched the Eastern Conference Championship

I really think this is an opponent by opponent decision. If our goal is to stop the other team from driving to the basket and scoring at the rim and get offensive rebounds i think Mitch(if healthy) is an upgrade over Ihart.
Otherwise If we need someone to help facilitate or someone to make it hard on a stretch 5 Ihart is our guy.
In the end they end up splitting minutes and keeping each other fresh is ideal. Who cares who starts when together they average 10 blocks, 2 steals, 10 offensive/25 total rebounds, 5 assists, 30 points while keeping opposing centers below their averages and make it hard for anyone at the rim.

He’d fit better with the bench unit too. He’d be picking up the slack from burks and more so, bojan.
The Knicks bench could be some teams starting 5. I’m not joking.

Hartenstein earned his starting spot this season tbh. Mitch knows this and he also knows he will need to gradually get more minutes to be successful. Good stuff all around.
