Welcome to another night in the NBA this is your 10-minute recap of the last night of NBA Hoops a night with nine games on the night a little more than we’ve had recently but I want to start off with the Houston Rockets who quietly have been looking really good as of late including five straight wins now

Weeks has really picked it up and then we have Fred Van Fleet with 13 points and 16 assists he had 12 assists at the half the most assists in a half of Fred Van fleet’s career 20 points for Jabari Smith Jr 18 points and eight rebounds for amen Thompson who shoots 73% from

The field uh was just super impressive Dylan Brooks with 12 points and it’s well balanced and this new group of starters seems to be meshing really well together which is huge for the team moving forward as a lot of the guys here are young it’s Jaylen it’s Amen it’s

Jabari yes van Fleet and Brooks are there but the other three guys feel like the drivers of this recent success and it’s paying off like I said five straight wins they’re just three games back of the final play in spot I think it’s three and a half cuz the Warriors won last night

But the Rockets have won five straight and are kind of threatening to steal a final playing spot from either the Warriors or the Lakers which people wouldn’t have expected just a couple of weeks ago that it could be a real possibility but now let’s get into some

Regardless uh let’s look at some other stuff here we yes there are three and a half games back of the Warriors for that last spot and amen Thompson has looked really good as of late as well but let’s talk about their starting lineup because according to budau the Rockets new

Starting lineup has a 14.8 net rating which ranks in the 99th percentile of lineups in the NBA this season and then they have they have been averaging 136 points per 100 possessions which ranks in the 100th percentile which means it’s the best in the League this season it’s

Just super impressive stuff the starting lineup since shenon went down of alen Thompson Jaylen green Dylan Brooks Jabari Smith Jr and Fred Van fleet has just been super impressive they’re not even really playing a center in that lineup it’s kind of Jabari Smith as like a small ball Center but he can rebound

The ball so well that it doesn’t really matter you have van Fleet and amen who can both create for others but amen and Jabari and especially Jaylen can all really score the ball as well which is super super cool and it’s actually really well balanced and the Rockets

Next four games after this five-game winning streak are the Wizards the Bulls the Jazz and the Blazers so there’s a real chance that this winning streak could extend from five games to nine games and by that point you could be within a game of that last playing spot

And they can really push for this hard if they’re interested in getting there they’ll have the ability to get there and they have the talent to do so as well the backourt of the future of am men and Jaylen green looks really really really promising both of the guys have

Really picked it up since the All-Star break and shenon is already an All-Star level Center at just 21 years old I believe so the future of this Rockets team is insanely bright but they’re also playing well right now which is huge and super fun to watch because of how

This one and they just continue to look really well balanced in a lot of areas the Blazers do get 28 points from Delano Banton as well as 20 and8 from DeAndre Eon who still looks really impressive over the past couple weeks then we move to Sixers versus Hornets and the Sixers

UB unfortunately Kai Jones does not play he’s on a 10day contract finally got back into the league and people were hoping for a little revenge against the Hornets but he does not get in this one so you’ll have to hope to see him in the

Next game 21 points for Trey man but the Hornets do fall short the Pacers get a win at home against the Brooklyn Nets 121 to 100 28 points from Pascal SE yakum 14 for Tyrese halberton I don’t know if a lot of people are saying it but Tyrese over the past couple months
