I think if Isaiah Thomas doesn't work out in Phoenix, maybe he gets a chance to sign with San Antonio or something like that, where maybe it isn't about being on a winning team this season, but just seeing what a good point guard like IT can do working with Wemby. Giving them an idea of someone who makes a good match with Wemby. Even if IT isn't a good defender…he is still a damn good ball handler and playmaker. But giving IT his props, at least IT puts up effort on the defensive side of the the court. Some guys can't be bothered to do that.
I would rather have a bad defender who gives effort than a good defender who is lazy and it makes him bad. It goes into the culture of people taking pride in wanting to win vs people just stat padding.

I like I.T. When you think about what the Suns need (which is a DAWG), to be 5'9 in the NBA and have accomplished what he has, he is exactly what this team needs. Or it's possible they want to get a look at what their future would with a PG, this is a great opportunity to do so and I am glad this happened for I.T. The Suns are going anywhere fast, and I hope they entire philosophy changes on the court and we get away from the "Big 3 " concept in PHX. Every team needs a respected leader/floor general who is ok with ruffle-feathers like KD and Book. Those 2 together don't work. I digress, KD, Book and Beal have gotten too close and on the court it is only obvious they do not admire each others games like they did when they were watching from a far. If you watch the team, when one of the 3 is out (more specific, Devin Booker), KD becomes the man and takes over the PG duties and the team thrives during this time. When its the opposite, Eric Gordon plays injured because he knows Book hogs the ball. Unfortunately one of the 3 needs to go. KD being 35, it maybe him, because regardless what anyone says, Phoenix isn't getting rid of DB. Make we can get Houston Rockets, OKC, or Memphis Grizzlies Ja Morant in a trade. I really liked KD prior to coming to PHX, but his body-language reminds me of an elementary kid when they don't get their way. Beal and Grayson Allen seem to be drama free and confident in their skin and roll their sleeves up and get to work. Book could be the issue. Remember when he was injured how Cam Johnson dropped 50 on the Knicks and Bridges became the dude. I just hope I.T. gets some playing time with our bench guys and Beal as Beal seems to be the most grounded/mature of the 3 and he doesn't just say he wants to win, you can see it in his face.
