I think there’s a lot of fair criticism to be had about this Suns team and how they’ve performed this year. I hate to say it but the way it’s looking now, Ishbia’s big shakeup of the roster and trading our future picks for aging superstars isn’t working out.
Defensive is this teams problem.
If vogel is coach its over kd clearly doesnt want to play for this man nomore u can see it his body language his rotation is terrible playing the small ball lineup the whole 4th qtr the bench cnt stay in the game long enough bol included to impact game because frank is gonna go small smfh

I believe it's all on the coach in this particular situation. I have yet to see a high level scheme type game play. Frank's lack of big man involvement in the offense whether it's bol are nurkic. You have to figure out how to utilize every player on this team with this roster it's clear that it cannot only be the big three due to their inability to hit together on all cylinders. I believe that you can coach yourself out of a bad game and frank does not have that ability and the disbelief is him is starting to show in his players

No matter what happens in the playoffs, the number one priority this summer is to become a top five or top 10 defense. Which means we got to get defensive minded players to fit Vogel system

I was right, trading for Beal was the beginning of a failed season. I thought we were getting jrue holiday and nurkic out of that blazers trade. I was really disappointed and had the feeling of things not going well. Jrue would’ve been a better fit defensively and as point guard. Our defense is bad because our guards can’t stay attached to thier man and are offense lost on defensive plays, they cause little to no problem for opponents ball handler , get into passing lanes or disrupt plays. The only guy who does that is Josh okogie, having jrue holiday would’ve balanced the roster. While jrue isn’t the best offensive guard, he’s really good of the PnR , can shoot 3s off the dribble and off ball. And he’s an absolute menace on defense, we could’ve gotten all that for way cheaper price and giving a boat ton of money to iso merchant Beal
I stand by my theory that they dont give a fuck about the regular season. It's probably the wrong move but I'm convinced they'll play hard in the post season. Vogel took that Lakers team to a ring on limited games. Based on the injury history we knew going into this season, I'm starting to think that was the plan all along.

Hopefully young suns fans learned that building a team around old former superstars is a recipe of disaster, superteams never worked except ones with lebron, because lebron himself is the point guard playmaker who fits everyone and he’s somewhat durable. The rockets with drexler olajuwon barkley and later pippen didn’t work, the portland teams didn’t work, the lakers with malone didn’t work, the lakers with nash and howard didn’t work, the nets with deron joe johnson garnett and pierce didn’t. The warriors were not a technically a superteam because they had won a title already before they added kd to the core. Take away the lebron’s heat and warriors with kd most championship teams were homegrown with 1 superstar and many good players, raptors with kawhi, nuggets with joker, bucks with giannis, even the 22 warriors only had curry. This superteam in phoenix bs needs to die.
