LeBron James: “I believe in 08 or 09 or whenever that light-skinned fucker came into the league in Golden State, he changed the narrative. He single-handedly changed the ‘no lead is safe’. Steph & Allen Iverson are the 2 biggest influential guys in our game since I’ve been watching & covering it”

God, LeBron and Steph just need to kiss already

In another universe Lebron joined Golden State in 2014 and 10 years later is the consensus greatest player of all time.

  3. Lebron and Steph need to team up already just so we can see how good they are despite being old and imagine them in their primes together

He’s right about the AI & Steph thing. All the kids want/wanted to play just like them growing up.

  5. I’ve said before that I think Kevin Durant took away from Steph Curry’s legacy. If Kevin Durant never does that, and Curry finishes with three rings (let’s say 2015, 2018 and 2022) instead of four, with a team entirely built around him, I think he has more street cred and ranks just as high (maybe not higher but just as high) as if Durant wasn’t there.

He doesn’t have the full resume of a Michael Jordan, but he is an era-defining player like Jordan, and he would’ve been able to be that to an even greater degree.

He’s right, I think people can see the greatness in MJ and LeBron, but people want to be Steph and Allen Iverson. It’s mainly the height, more relatable, and simply feels like they’re defying the odds at times because of it.

What a privilege it was to watch the Steph Curry era.

The humility for Lebron James to say another player has been more impactful to the game is saying something..

What does being light-skinned have to do with it lmao.

It’s those guys movement and way they carry the ball, also cause they close to my height.

  11. Y’all buried the lead. Can we talk about how LeBron washes his tiny sip of wine down with a giant swig of water?

Only 2 players since the old old days changed the way the other teams played against them solely because they were so good at their job. Shaq and steph. They really do deserve a special spot in the hall.

AI was a rookie when I saw him in Indy. He got 3 guards in foul trouble in the first half with about 2 minutes to go.

I was wondering who was going to take him and the next thing I know, Reggie is squared up near halfcourt.

The place started to laugh and couldn’t wait to see how many bones Reggie would break on the first crossover.

You could not stay in front of him.

I’ve seen this in real time, Steph first came out then everywhere I played ball people were shooting (and bricking) 3’s fast forward today I’ll play at random places and everyone is shooting and making 3’s – folks aren’t as well rounded in their game as they used to be but MFS can shoot 3’s now. I’m talking last man on the bench bring nothing to the game AT ALL will hit uncontested 3’s. It’s mind bottling.

Maybe I’m an old man now, but I still only shoot them in the flow/rhythm of the game – even then I like the pump fake drive layup or dump off to the open man once the download defender moves to contest.

So we’re all good with the term “light-skinned fucker”?

The size difference between LeBron and JJ is kinda funny and very ridiculous
