[Boston Sports Info] Jayson Tatum Has played the most minutes in the NBA, in the reg/post season, since he came in to the league in 2017-18 1. Jayson Tatum – 20,842 2. Nikola Jokic – 19,387 Tatum has played a whopping 1,455 minutes more than anyone else
People will freak out about this, but if you’ve watched the games post all star break, dude is legitimately walking out there, the minutes aren’t nearly the same intensity as last year when we were fighting for seeding.

6’9 225 you feel me?

Honestly more surprised jokic played that many minutes

At 33 minutes per game (about JB this year) that’s an extra 1/2 season of games.
Mostly this is a function of games played since this is 34.9 minutes per game – an incredible amount of health, a lot of post season games (instant and sustained success) and plying a lot but not insane minutes.

Highest +/- since he got drafted too

And this doesn’t even include his FIBA World Cup or Olympics minutes

Tatum should play 10 more games around 30 MPG
That would put him at 74 games played and around 2,585 minutes (34.9 MPG)
That would be about the equivalent of playing 38 minutes for about 6 more games and wrapping up the 1 seed, then coasting at 18-19 minutes for 4 games (playing the first half) and sitting the other 4.
If we go 5-1 in the heavy Tatum minute games, and then 3-5 in the other games, that’s 62 wins and would be enough for the best record in the league.
That should be how they manage his minutes imo.
Have him play Milwaukee, Detroit
Sit Chicago
Play Atlanta x2, New Orleans
Sit Charlotte
Play OKC
Play limited minutes against SAC, Portland, Milwaukee, NY
