Again with the excuses. Watch the denver games, they never look that lost on a basketball court as some of the games have been recently for the Clips.
Last 20 games I can believe it, with the seeding locked up teams might turn to final experimentation and rest.
It’s the bad play since locking up the 1 seed from as early as the start of Feb that is the worry. Respected analysts like Legler were saying they expected the contenders to roar out of the gates after ASG and that that is usually what happens. Of the last few champs only the 2022 Warriors were poor in Feb or equivalent.
IMO they will have to turn it around right now to have a shot, can’t see a team being shit from ASG onwards and then pulling out a title, damn near half a season. I mean the Rockets did it but thems not good odds. Kawhi is incredible but he isn’t Hakeem, Hakeem is arguably a top ten guy all time

He’s leaving out some important context that all 5 teams finished Top 3 in their conference, so their late season struggles weren’t significant for playoff seeding. By contrast, our rough patch has led to us losing every meaningful tie breaker so that it is now almost impossible to finish higher than 4th. And unless the turnaround happens immediately, we can’t discount the possibility of falling below 5th.
