Stacking wins Z what was the key to uh starting this road trip off on the right foot tonight defense to offense defense to offense uh felt like CJ picked right back up where he left off last game when he sets a tone like that how does it

Help the starting unit get going um it helps a lot and that’s what me and CJ talked about during the Clippers game I know he’s trying to facilitate at some points but you know I need him to be aggressive on the offensive end cuz it opens up more for that first

Unit it’s been a journey for you since you’ve arrived how have you seen Willie Green Change grow as a coach um just how he adapts to situations uh like my first year I didn’t play a single game so I never had a chance uh to build a real like relationship with

Him but since I’ve been able to be on the court and play um you know me and him talk a lot more you know we see certain things on the court and off the court you know our relationship has gotten a lot better it’s in a great spot

Uh why do you think it’s um improved uh kind of the same thing I said about like when I’m on a court with CJ NBI just you just got to experience things you just got to kind of test the time the longer you’re around somebody just you going to bond at some point

What were you thinking when uh Naji got that steal throw it up cuz it was crazy cuz me and him had like just talked about it he said hey man you need to you go to the paint you need to start dunking so when he got the when he got the steal I

Said oh he’s throwing it so he threw a good pass and went and got it uh the Pelicans match their win total from last season you guys have 14 games left just you know how exciting is that that there’s this much runway left to like go way past your win total from last

Year I was very exciting but um we got to keep building uh talked about it beginning of the Season middle of the season and now coming towards the end of the season uh we just got to keep getting better cuz we want to be a contender we got to keep like getting
