Way to I did a like a senior citizen event um a couple weeks ago and even how much they love the Celtics so like it doesn’t matter the demographic if you’re in you know Boston you’re in Massachusetts everybody loves the Celtics and I love that how’s it been uh

Jumping in on a contender and trying to carve out a role uh it’s been great um mainly just because we have a great opportunity to win ever since I’ve been here we won majority of the games and obviously that’s what it was before I got here and it’s just awesome to see

And for me I’m doing whatever it takes to help us you know continue that whether I just need to be a like down defender or a rebounder or a space on the court you I want to do whatever I can just so I can have an impact playing

For a new coach uh Joe Milla what’s been your first impressions of him over the last few months um what stands out um the biggest thing what stands out to me is he’s very authentic he’s very himself um remember when we had our first phone calls the first thing he told me was

Don’t be weird and I loved it just kind of he just what he meant by it was just whoever you are whoever you want to be perceived as like be that every day don’t have to feel forced to try to fit in just be who you are and let that work

And I’ve been following that and it’s been awesome and how are you feeling within the system I’ve been here for a couple weeks how are you feeling yeah feeling good especially defensively getting a chance to understand our schemes and how we like to guard um and

A lot of it’s playing to towards my strength and and allowing me to switch a lot more allowing me to be able to use my voice on defense as well so I’ve been fitting in pretty well with the system was that on as you just get comfortable

Here it’s going good I’m finally moved out of a hotel I was in a hotel for about a week uh trying to find a spot here um Boston’s great um I’m getting used to driving in all the tunnels and stuff like that not missing any exits

And whatnot a lot of one ways a lot of one ways a lot of potholes you got swerve but otherwise I’m getting used to it for sure
