[NBA University] Jayson Tatum is shooting 44.9% (!) on 5.4 pull-up 3s per game over the last 10 games – best in the NBA* When the pull-up jumper is falling for Tatum, there’s essentially nothing you can do with Boston’s offense. Interested to see if the shooting continue to peak come playoffs…

Adjusted to the mean. And beyond tbh. Good on Tatum for working on his pull up three with his shooting coach. People here wanted him to play like Giannis earlier in the season.
Great point. Even when it isn’t on, Tatum is still so damn good.
But when he is making his pull-up threes and is hot? You aren’t losing.
Drew Hanlen masterclass
Expect teams in playoffs to adjust their defenses against JT. He will still cook them with drives and passes when doubled.
We just need 16 games in the playoffs, please Celtics I’m begging you this has to be the year.
Just keep doing it against the teams that matter
he’s my daddy
Remember when every other post in December was about Jayson Tatum shooting too many pull ups?
Tatum changed his pullup form recently. It’s showing.
I kept saying all season even if JT is not shooting well he should keep taking the pullup 3 until he gets his rhythm. It’s his signature move and when it’s falling we are unbeatable
But mfs in this subreddit want him to play like budget Giannis for some reason
I love him taking pullup 3s all season. Keep chucking.
His only “weakness” is 3 consistency so people want him to stop shooting, I want the opposite. Keep shooting til you are consistent and noone will be able to touch him the second half of his career.
Now in the playoffs, I want him more selective and driving more. But it’s the reg season and honestly if he goes 1-10 we still usually win. Practice them pullups
A positive post? Are we allowed to do those in here?
5 attempts seems reasonable too. Let’s not approach double digits lol
All I hear is “if Boston misses their 3s” or “ they need Tatum and Brown to show up” from seemingly everyone. First of all those criticisms are true for every single team. If your best players don’t show up or you shoot poorly generally every team loses those situations. What I don’t hear is what happens if these guys go up another level come playoff time ( which feel much more the case this year to me, but I’m obv biased ) I haven’t heard one single talking head even mention it.
Pull-up game strong
