Describe the confidence that you’re playing with right now uh high level high level you’ve mentioned before that you’ve had runs like this does it feel different than those other times uh no um obviously I’ve had runs where you know I get hot and and you know cool

Down um I mean the main goal is just to you know keep building on the hot streaks and be as consistent as possible and um affect the game in ways even when I’m not scoring the ball well um just getting guys involved playing defense like that that moment when you came off

The bench after tying your career high and your the entire bench was just so excited what did that mean to you to have your teammates so I meant when you went to the bench what did that mean to you it’s always a good feeling you know they all jumping on me pushing me

Hugging me um it’s always a good feeling you know these guys been supporting me all year even when I was at my lowest um they kept trying to confidence into me tell me keep going so it’s always a good feeling they they was telling me go get that 40 so

Yeah Jay what what what what were you thinking going into that in the middle of that third quarter they had doubled you in the second quarter and in the middle of the third quarter but then you went on a 70 run was when did they

Finally let up or did you just take it upon yourself to say I’m going to go get uh I I was just you know trying to obviously they were doubling so I was trying to just take the double team and you know find the middle find open guy

Um just be aggressive um you know my guys made right plays which then they start back up off the double and then found me open shots so yeah this is our first time being able to talk to you since you won Western Conference player of the week what was that like for you

It’s a good feeling you know just to show that the work is working but um you know that’s not important we we tasting a goal to get into the playoffs playing and uh we just going to I’m going keep putting my head down and keep working do

Awards like that prove that you are doing a better job of becoming an all-around player which is what you told me at the beginning of the Season you wanted yeah for sure um you know it just shows shows it shows everybody um first off but you know that’s not not my goal

For you know accolades and stuff and go main goal is to win so that’s what we trying to do right now
