I feel like the issue is how often this stuff is just shoved in our faces. When I lived in Vegas, sports betting was a big deal but it was relegated to local sports radio shows and very specific shows you had to seek out. Even if you were watching on local channels out there, they weren’t shoving lines down your throat. You had the sports betting apps, but they were talking about sports betting in general and not talking about lines.
The NBA has ramped this shit up to 15 and ripped the knob off. You can’t turn on any NBA broadcast without hearing about gambling, or lines, or the various ridiculous parlays you can do. I’m tired of seeing it.

Thought I’d be a sports guy forever but these fucking degenerate gamblers ruined the fun for me. I’m sick of all the ads and constant betting coverage too so I rarely watch sports at all anymore.
Honestly it should be illegal to contact a player or coach about sports betting/fantasy sports. There’s a line and we have shown that humanity can not stop crossing it.
