  1. mrreported

well, the fake comeback was fun to watch at least

  2. st-christian

So Maxey is going off against the Lakers on Friday?

  3. thatsinsaneletstryit

my only takeaway from this was STOP fucking playing around nick nurse. give Ricky Council 4 the keys to this organization

  4. Top_Shallot_4951

Even if we just made 80% of the FT this may have shaken out differently

  5. bravof1ve

That should put an end to any all-nba talk for Maxey.

It’s one thing to lose some of these games, but it’s unacceptable when the team comes out looking like they’d rather be playing fortnite.

  6. ArroganceIsPotent

main takeaway is the suns are not scary at all

  7. Just one of those games. 5/16 at the line, Grayson Allen not missing, and Maxey no-showing. Not even mad to be honest.

  8. jeppsforst

Everyone should just mentally prepare themselves for a very rough west coast trip. Strap in

  9. Chiefster21

Maxey really didn’t want to play tonight. He wasn’t himself at all. Glad to see Ricky Council isn’t dead though. Maybe give him some minutes moving forward Nick

Whatever we do in the off-season, we have to get someone who can create dribble-drive penetration. Regardless of if Embiid is playing or not we cannot keep trying to run an offense with one person (Maxey) who can blow by their defender.

  11. wsbull_35

Embiid less Sixers are some of the worst teams I’ve seen play. At least process guys were entertaining

  12. MaxeytoEmbiid

The reason the fake comeback happened is those guys A: Attacked off the dribble and B: Actually shot the ball. Also, Jeff Downtin is a better PG than Lowry. In 2024, you have to actually look at the fucking rim.

Downtin took as many shots in 12 minutes, as Lowry did in 24.

The nepo baby sucks. He was traded by Miami and cut by Charlotte for a reason. Yes, Maxey struggled but a lot of it was late shot clock situations.

Why? Because now we have him exclusively off the ball, instead of attacking on top.

I’m done with the nepo baby. 2019 was 5 years ago, you’re not getting that Lowry back.

  13. Thegrandmistressofoz

Ricky’s been great in the all g league lineups because we can run it through him. But he’s not rly a shooter (ik he made 2 3s today), and not sure how he’d fare with our starters against other starters.

But we probably should reduce Batum’s minutes and give him some run (I don’t think it’ll help us win any games, but what do we have to lose in this brutal West Coast trip)

  14. TheSixthPistol

We couldn’t stop Ted Cruz from scoring tonight. It’s just one of those games where you don’t want to watch. Everything is fucked, everybody sucks.

    Mo Bamba 19 mins, 4/6 FG%, 9pts (66.7/33/0), 5rebounds, 0 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, 1 TO.

    Paul Reed 28 mins, 2/7 FG%, 4pts(28.6%/0/0), 5 reb, 3 asts, 3 steals, 2blks, 2 Tos.

Mo needs more minutes and touches the guy is a dominant offensive player and was locking up Nurk. He is clearly the only true center on this team. Mo did his job, many others didn’t, Nurse has a tendency to pull Mo randomly for the mistakes of others and its not only a bad habit but must be discouraging. The guy can only do so much, if he is locking the paint, providing great help defense, and keeping his hands active, teammates need to make sure the perimeter is also locked.

  16. ClassifiedTuron

All games (until Embiid comes back) I just expect we lose so idgaf really, I’m just sad they didn’t put in IT earlier

  17. theLgndKllr35

I’m honestly just pissed the Cleveland Casualiers as a “contender” couldn’t take down the Heat

  18. J3STERHOPPERPOT

My wife took me to the game tonight for my birthday. I didn’t expect a win but I’m still leaving dissapointed 😂. Having to watch Greyson Allen hit wide open 3s all game while the crowd begged to see bol bol and Isaiah Thomas was not a good time lmao

  19. davey_mann

Didn’t see the game but looking at the stats, most of that bench production was obviously just garbage time points. First quarter fool’s gold. On to the next West Coast opponent.

  20. My trip to Japan coinciding with this west coast swing worked out that i don’t have to see this shit this week

  21. shadowarmy229

Kinda off topic but James Harden playing defense on Kawhi was literally peak comedy, looks like Chris Broussard might’ve been right about him lmao

  22. DemonsReturns7

This was a weird ass game where the box score doesn’t tell the whole story

I couldn’t watch the game due to working overnight shift

But I see we shot attempted more FTs than them, had more steals, about even on assists, we had more pts in the paint and they had a 26 point lead at some point 🤔

    Something doesn’t seem right

  23. Doggydoggywoof

If it makes you feel better, probably would have been an uglier loss if the crumbl man played, felt good to watch the sixers play without him
