Shaq challenges Kevin Durant to Break LeBron James’ Impossible Seeming Record
Shaq just opened a can of worms into another debate that would never come to fruition but would definitely get the talking heads going. Won’t be surprised if Skip, Stephen A types actually convert this into a debate lol

It would be insane if any of these active players are able to pass LeBron.

Durant ain’t breaking shit. He’s what, 34? Doesn’t play full seasons, and most likely won’t be playing into his 40s like LBJ.
Plus, LeBron is still playing, at a high-level mind you. Yea, not happening.
While I think it’s a record that can certainly be broken, (not like Cal Ripken’s consecutive games played record) especially given the high output/volume of scoring these days, but it’s going to take a special kind of athlete and a lot of luck (to stay healthy).
Personally, I don’t see it anytime soon barring any rule changes like adding a 4 point line or some weird shit like that

Shaq is pretty stupid tbh. Just doing some random numbers would tell you how that record will stay unbroken for years to come, if it ever gets broken again.

Durant is approx 12000 points behind….they have basically the same career scoring average, but LeBron has played 400 more games and is still going. They’re only 4 years apart in age, so even if Lebron retired today and KD played 82 games a season, he’d have to be playing past LeBrons current age and still scoring 27 a game.
