The NBA Has NO ANSWER For Zion Williamson…

The NBA Has NO ANSWER For Zion Williamson…

Let me tell you Zion Williamson is on one right now playing the best basketball of his NBA career in March he’s averaging 24.4 points 7.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game while shooting 63.3% from the field the Pelicans are 7-1 this month on fire peing at the

Right time playoffs are close and Zion he’s a mismatch nightmare for every single team in the league I truly feel bad for opposing coaches and players right now you can tell he’s locked in supposedly he lost a bunch of weight recently but for me all that matters is

What’s popping on the film and trust me H Neutron John him he has insane value off the ball in the dunker spot as a cutter Ingram and Herb Jones pick and roll two show at Ingram get the ball to the middle now Zion gets it he has the

Athleticism to finish this situation 99% of the time Miles Turner is SF footer 1.8 blocks per game it doesn’t matter it’s light work for Zion you are not denying him at The Rim he will make you look silly and dunk on your head and the funny thing is Defenders are scared of

Him example look at Obi topping clearly he has to help Miles Turner who got screen and he’s just like nah I’m making a business decision let me just hide and act like I don’t know that I have to switch and honestly do we blame him no simply because he’s just too big for

Forwards RJ Barrett takes the Challenge and he ends up under the basket when Zion decides where he wants to go it’s a wrap he’s getting there most of the time not only does he have the strength Advantage but as a defensive tackle he’s also quick with the ball in his hands

Between between burst of speed he seals The Edge and when that happens it’s over because the athleticism takes over but here’s the thing he plays like a guard quick crossover the defender Cuts him off quickly he counters it with the spin move right now you play him one-on-one

It’s over I don’t know why you’re doing that against centers he’s too quick and against any other position he has a size and strength Advantage Plus the thing is don’t even doubt him either against some wings and guards in today’s NBA with the ball in his hands he’s probably quicker

As well you have to double team him or build a wall or you stand zero chance he’s going to dominate but right here they send two at him Clint capella is there to help but he has a counter and that’s his insane touch he floats it up

And it doesn’t even touch the net this is the most underrated aspect of his game in my eyes he’s shooting 70% at the basket he’s shooting 59% in the two-point region and a lot has to do with his sweet touch when he’s shooting floaters hook shots and finger rolls it

Gives him a counter to when defenses actually play good defense he just says okay I’ll rise above them because I can jump to Jupiter float it up and trust my touch to get the job done seeing a guy at his size have that type of touch is a

Thing of beauty as a Defender I’m like you have the Derek Henry Force when you drive the size Advantage freakish jumping ability and then on top of that the Steph Curry floater package what are we doing here that’s why is the goat the goat and it’s not just the touch though

He’s the definition of the 2K bag slithery and if you don’t know what that means here’s the definition increase a player’s ability to slide through traffic protect the ball from being stolen and avoid contact during gathers and finishes at The Rim here the In-N-Out dribble burst of speed splits

Brooks and senon and he notices the contest is high so he goes with the scoop finish peep where the ball touches the backboard you got to have some sweet English in order for it to tinkle in from that angle alpie says are you kidding me and I’ll tell you a secret he

Loves the right to left In-N-Out dribble he loves the In-N-Out dribble it’s his go-to setup move and then he’s ramming in hard burst of speed he knows where the block attempt will be capella claps the backboard while Zion finishes on the other side of the rim how about this one

Catches beats Aaron Gordon off the dribble that’s not easy by the way Aaron Gordon one of the best defenders in the league picks up his dribble here ends up here while veering through traffic he can just hang in the air like no other and he knows which angles to take and

There’s so many times where the reverse layup just doesn’t look like it’s there and for most players it isn’t there but for Zion he just finds a way to get the layup off and finish through contact before the defense denies him even if they do beat him to the spot often times

He just goes through them for for a big body he really knows how to Veer through traffic and not only that but he does it on balance and in control now I think I lied earlier because I can’t decide which is the more underrated aspect of

His game his touch or his handle because keep in mind He’s listed at 66 284 lbs he shouldn’t be dribbling the way he does with the speed at which he does it so here he’s hunting Luke Canard no switch but there is a gap of space quick between now he’s getting low and

Sneaking into that tiny small Gap while picking up speed he maintains control with a one quick dribble with the left a one quick dribble with the right and on top of that he gathers and dunks it on jiren Jackson Jr’s head I don’t know what the Grizzlies did to him because he

Has another highlight play here he has Marcus Smart on him look at him staring down valent chunis like he’s getting a screen and going left that’s all the setup though he does that on purpose for a quick left to right crossover like he’s Prime Derek Rose steal attempt from

Smart doesn’t work handles are too good then the speed takes over he’s gone Elevate whama jamama and here’s the crazy thing he has like a Kyrie Irving es part to his game where he can get super duper duper low with his dribble while staying on balance and maintaining

Control of the basketball with his dribble which allows him to get around the defender and often times they just can’t recover so he gets an easy finish at his size and weight he shouldn’t be able to get that low so Zion has point guard like handles which brings me to

His playmaking ability he’s a legit point forward at this point he’s second on the team and assist per game with five a game only behind Brandon Ingram he’s getting better and better at recognizing the defense is packing in on him focusing in on his Drive marinan takes a couple steps to potentially take

Away his Lane notice Zion never looked at the corner I feel like that was on purpose to make Markin in relax because immediately when he sinks in that pass releases quickly but naked open three created here he gets doubled he knows hard and has to help on the roller Quick

Pass to Dyson Daniels he catches with so much space and opportunity Buck it as a result you can tell he wants to get others going here same as the first play he knows the help Defender is coming he can easily get to the basket if he wants

To but he doesn’t force the issue he’s unselfish and wants his teammate to get a butt naked open three for NBA regards stop here I mean look at the congestion and traffic in his line of vision he still sniffs out that valent chunis is going to leak open once he gets around

Jimmy Butler and now it opens up a bucket for his teammate and defenses are just so petrified of his driving ability and they have to commit multiple Defenders they have to game plan against Zion to keep him out of the painted region or else he’s dropping 30 and that just creates easy opportunities

Consistently for his teammates and he still has room to grow in this regard but at just 23 years old he has natural unselfishness and feel for getting looks for his teammates which makes him more Dynamic and tougher to game plan against and something I haven’t mentioned about

His game but I’m sure all you watching did the simple mathematics he’s a freaking transition with his skill set first off he can grab a rebound and instantly start the fast break like a point guard Zion against a scrambling defense good luck he’s already a lot to

Handle when your defense is set so even if he isn’t handling the rock up the court his team teammates will find him in cutting lanes and he will finish the job overall I’m just praying Health stays on his side because we need to see what he looks like in the playoffs and

We need to see a healthy Pelican Squad to see what they’re truly capable of because in the playoffs that’s really where a player in team learns their true strengths and weaknesses and what they need to work on moving forward the Pelicans are a sleeper team right now

But sooner rather than later the hype will start to come I I don’t know when but I’m just warning you guys it’s coming if you enjoyed leave a like And subscribe if you got time check out my other videos be sure to leave your thoughts in the comment section Below on

  1. Well that whole overweight problem ZION had the last 3 seasons , he took it personally and because of that he’s actually taken accountability for it , that is a major reason why he has been better

  2. Loved the video. The Pels are very underrated. I think they are in playoff mode right now. Getting better every game. Zion is a nightmare for defenses which makes the game easier for the team.

  3. Why does nobody put his weight because of his injuries? Zion has been injured, and the Duke coach said you have to keep Zion balling.

  4. I personally think he’s the most unstoppable scorer in the league as well as the best finisher in the league

  5. Zion my fave very first time I saw him. He is so unique no one else is more fun to watch than he is. This was a perfect video and commentary on his skills. Thank you.
