The Washington Wizards defeat the Sacramento Kings, 109-102. Kyle Kuzma led Washington with 31 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists while Deni Avdiji added 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. De’Aaron Fox led the Kings with 25 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 6 steals as Malik Monk (20 points, 4 assists) and Domantas Sabonis (14 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists) totaled 34 points. The Wizards move to 12-58 while the Kings fall to 40-29.

Domantas Sabonis tallies 52nd consecutive double-double this season, he is now just one off from tying Kevin Love’s streak of 53 for most consecutive double-doubles in the 2000s.
Kevin Love – 53 straight double-doubles, from Nov. 22, 2010 – March 11, 2011

Sabonis has 65 DBL DBLs on the year, tying his own record for most DBL-DBL in a single season for the Sacramento era of their franchise history.

Domantas Sabonis now has consecutive seasons with 65 double-doubles. Sabonis is the first player to do this since Kevin Garnett, who did so from 2002-03 to 2004-205 (three straight seasons).

There were 4 players who did this since the 1990-91 season, coming into tonight:
* Kevin Garnett – 3 straight seasons, 2002-03 to 2004-05
* Tim Duncan – 2 straight seasons, 2000-01 to 2001-02
* Shaquille O’Neal – 2 straight seasons, 1992-93 to 1993-94
* John Stockton – 2 straight seasons, 1990-91 to 1991-92

  1. Terrible loss for Sacramento. They've gotta be able to beat sub-500 teams decisively if they expect to make any noise in the Playoffs.

  2. Sacramento Kings played charity ball today. 👑🦁💜💪🏽. We let ‘em have 1. Gotta make fans happy.

  3. Hold on, you're meaning to tell me that the same Kings team that blew Milwaukee out by 30 points, and beat the reigning champions Denver 3 out of 4 times in the regular season series can't even beat the two worst teams in the league, the Pistons and the Wizards? Not trying to hate or anything, but something tells me the Kings won't be going very far in the playoffs.

  4. Kings are officially the most overrated team in the league they can’t win games isn’t he fourth. I don’t wanna see anyone call them a dark horse again.

  5. We have the worst defensive structure in the league.
    I can’t stand watch my Kings play D. So many mistakes, so many open 3’s.

    The only hope we have of winning games is Monk or Fox going crazy for 40 points and just outscoring the other team or hoping that team has a bad shooting night.

  6. The kings would be a team to sweep the lakers and beat top contenders in the west and then literally loose to the worst seeded and record team. How are they this inconsistent is beyond me.
