Can the Raptors find gold in the 2024 draft?
In this video, I’ll take you through the inside track on scouting prospects and what I specifically look for when watching tape on potential draftees. I’ve been very right sometimes (Scottie, Hawkins, Watson, Green, Mobley) and wrong (Kessler, Paolo, Scoot so far) but as I perfect this process, I realize it’s never going to be exact.
I’ll talk about the theoretical approach to the draft, and why there will likely be a future hall of famer somewhere in this draft, why draftees get overlooked, biases that exist, and why some players get overly hyped.
Finally, we can talk about why the 2024 draft is so perfect for the Toronto Raptors current roster build, and why the flexibility the Raptors have going into the 2024 offseason is such a blessing in disguise.

They said 2011 was a bad draft at the time and you got Kyrie Irving, Jimmy Butler, Klay and Kawhi out of it so you really never know.
