Just needs to improve on his catch and shoot numbers. I don’t know the actual numbers but I don’t think they are good. I feel like most of his misses so far have been very good looks. It really feels like he’s just now getting into a rhythm here tho.Â

Terry with the 3pt shooting sliders and finishing sliders up some notches is essentially Kyrie. He has some of the best handles and quickest first steps in the league. Or if he was 3 inches taller you’d have a perennial allstar.
CURRENTLY he’s the fringe allstar guard this team has needed ala Dragic. Not once have I have downed Terry because I knew his value would shine eventually. It was foolish for some on here to get on literally the ONLY player on this team that can create his own shot 10 out of 10 times outside of Butler. Even Herro isn’t the shot maker Terry is because he doesn’t have the handle to actually GET to the rim consistently as he has to settle for floaters.
Rozier actually gets to the rim and draws fouls, a skill this teamed has lacked outside Butler for years. Remember he was a key piece to Boston success when they went to the ECF in ’18, hes a Wade disciple after all.
So yes I was super pleased when we got him for the corpse of Lowry and I’m even more sure Riles made the right move yet again.
