    B.I. is irreplaceable, but

12-5 in that stretch and held the #1 spot in the West for most of it.

It’ll be interesting to see, our strength of schedule was 2nd easiest in the west in that stretch now we have the 9th hardest

If the front office want a definitive answer to whether z can be the guy to lead the team here is the answer

Assuming we don’t fall into the play in, this serves as a good opportunity to see into the future with a true 1st option Zion and gets Trey and the other guys some playing time in that system. Cool experiment, but we HAVE to avoid slipping too far

Zion is a team guy, he’s hard wired to look for shooters. With one less option to pass to, I predict a Zion scoring rampage on the horizon

Man yall really have to let go of that one month last season towards the beginning of season

And Zion is in better shape this time around. Should be interesting.

I mean it’s not BI that limits Zion’s production, did you see the defense Orlando played against him? We talk about that Zion has no mismatch, Jonathan Isaac locked him inside a cage last night. Especially against a team that has size and lenght, he’ll have way more trouble since the refs rarely make calls in favor of him. And I mean, only way you can solve this problem is that Z either has to develop a jumpshot or the others should step-up and not let the pressure get to them. That’s the way they lose the most of the games. They get panicked, don’t know what to do, chuck up a shot doesn’t fall, eat fastbreak points. Idk what will we see against Heat without BI, they’re a physical team and I know Bam won’t let Z get inside without turning the ball over and look to block his shot everytime.

This is why CJ is important. He may not be optimal as a 3rd option but he can step up when we are missing one of the 2 big guys.

Schedule looks a tad bit different this time around. This might be the toughest stretch yet.

The Zion minutes I’m not worried about at all. He’s proven to be elite at being the focal point.

Those non Zion minutes might be a little more difficult to manage.

I’m also assuming you’re going to have to stagger Trey and Zion more to make sure there is more scoring on the floor when CJ is operating as the main creator.

It will also be interesting to see how teams game plan to Zion without BI

Edit- i also think we are focusing on the wrong guy stepping up in Trey. I’m looking forward to herb taking on more offensive duties and more initiating duties

I expect Zion to go off

Time to prove to the world who you are Z!

Zion is supposed to be a superstar. It’s time to prove it. This is his biggest test of the season. At least 2 weeks without BI, possibly more if we stay a top 6 seed and wanna recharge for the playoffs.

It hurts for sure but Trigga can slot in better than most. Honestly Zion or Herb getting hurt would be the real disaster

  13. Thank god we have depth i remember in years past we would have to be starting alonzo gee

  14. Need Dyson to come back and start him next to Herb

  15. Razor-Ramon-Sessions

Respectfully, temper your expectations. This seems like a recipe for disaster.

BI has also been a fantastic facilitator and defender for us this year. I don’t think you’re giving him enough credit.
