It’s so over
Imagine if this was steph’s last good year before he declines, and the FO wasted it because they were too nice to trade wiggins, kuminga or podz.
imagine if we blow it all up in the summer and steph’s not the same guy come october.
Just imagine
Some other poster mentioned this last night but they described it as “a shell game of which one-way players to play”. That is the situation and going forward we need to deal with this problem even though it requires tough decisions.
You can be small without being old and still win. You can be old without being small. But not both.
When you’re playing lineups not for the sake of MAXIMISING the players’ abilities but rather MINIMISING damage as to not sacrifice too much of rebounding, defense, shooting, etc. or give up large runs you’re not a contender…our lineups are created out of the FEAR of putting the wrong guys on the court at the same time irrespective of the result.
Looney, Saric, Moody, CP3, Wiggins, Podz, even GP2 find a way to unclutter and consolidate these guys and get one of defense, firepower, or size.
And don’t resign Klay to something ridiculous like 3/80. There should be a reasonable threshold where he signs under a certain amount to keep us competitive or let him walk.
