I went through many possessions from Jovic against the Cavaliers that showed how much he’s improved on defense. Seeing him play now vs what he was like earlier in the season when he seemed lost on the court and everything was happening too fast AND now seeing him make high level reads is insane.
The first thing that stood out was him recognising when to help, being early on tags, rotating quickly/early to prevent shots. That is just the high IQ that developed a lot.
His improvement on defense has been so fun to watch.

His improvement correlates with him getting in game practice against NBA talent because he already learned all he could in the G-League.
