Things you need to know about this game:
Dom made 2 more points on 6 less shots than Devin (whose sneaker game is lacking tonight too).
Mamu scored 11 at 71.4FG% in 8 minutes.
Oh, and the spicy mic’ed up moment of the night: Bol Bol thinks the refs are dickriding Wemby.
Edit: Pop just said the team did the best they could and there was no stopping KD and Devin, plus Beal being finally healthy. Okay, Pop, I’m not sure I agree with that observation.
Only 212 days until the next season starts.
Pisses me off seeing them smiling and hugging, Wemby is the only one who takes losing serious, a squad full of bums.
We’re going to suck for a long time if there isn’t BIG changes this off season.
Brian Wright was the candidate we chose??? He better make changes this season or he deserves his ass on a platter.
Just don’t know what to say anymore, I didn’t expect us to win 60 games but the fact that there has been no progress over the entire season makes me think a lot more than a couple of guys need to be changed out if we’re gonna make any progress.

I really do not understand why Pop takes Wemby out 4-5 min to the first quarter man. You know the team is garbage without him. Just play him longer in the 1st where all the starters will eventually be rested going into the 2nd.

How can one team have such an abundance of elite shooting and the other soo little? Grayson who leads the league in 3 point percentage didn’t even need to attempt one today.
Was only able to catch the last minute of the game so I can really only go off what the stat sheet is showing.

A couple of things stand out. Vic is still turning over the ball way too much.
Our shots are way tuo spread around. The starters with the most shots taken were Devin at 8 then Vic at 7. Unsure if the coaching staff is letting everyone get some work in with their shots or what.

We pretty much played against a playoff ready DBook, and KD. There’s not a whole lot this team is going to be able to do to stop them.

Aside from all of that, seems like Pop waved the white flag early tonight, 3 of the starters barely breaking 20 minutes shows that as do the first half score sheet.
I know this is a “tanking” year and all that but something I don’t think people realize is even the front office didn’t think we’d be this bad this season. If you asked RC what he thought the record would be at this point of the season last summer he wouldn’t have guessed this. This roster needs a real overhaul and practically every facet of the game needs to be addressed.
This game is the game that made me go sour. Last game sucked because we played like we didn’t want to be there, tonight we just got showed up horribly.
Some big changes are needed, which we all agree, it’s the timeline that will be contentious. I just hope the squad looks different next season, and some accountability is put in place.

I remember seeing Victor was 4-6 at half while the rest of the starters were a combined 5-19 at that point. Like seriously, this team is atrocious and I can’t wait til they make some obvious changes
Best part of the night was listening to an exasperated Sean (seriously I have never heard him sound so dejected) say “we’ve got [Phoenix] right where we want ’em for Monday. We’ve just lulled them into a false sense of security”.

Can we just fast forward to the offseason, I’m expecting 100+ Woj notifications related to the Spurs or it’s a failure.
Out of curiosity: everyone keeps talking about drastic changes needing to be made this offseason. What are the odds we actually stay put, and the majority of this team suits up again come this fall? I don’t know if I can take much more of this.
