[D’Amico] I remember when the ’08-09 Celtics opened the season 20-2 and I could not wrap my mind around how a team could win 20 of 22 games against NBA opponents. Of note: The ’23-24 Celtics have now won 20 of their last 22 games.

    None of this matters. Will they be able to beat Denver 4x in June? That’s the only thing that will matter at the end.

    It’s just such a a deep team, everybody can shoot, everybody can defend, everybody can pass… there is just not a huge glaring weakness. Even PP who’s been attacked in the playoffs is a much better defender than people give him credit. The team is more deadly than ever and I think come playoffs there isn’t a team in the east that I feel is capable of taking a 7 game series from us. If we do lose, I can’t imagine it being anybody but the Nuggets, Thunder maybe, but they don’t have deep playoff experience (that said, I don’t really think Shai has ever seen a moment too bright for him), healthy Wolves maybe but they also don’t have that playoff experience.
