Hey guys it’s typ really excited to be creating a piece celebrating March Madness this year and big shout out to Home Depot for bringing this together the main material I chose was hardwood Maple the same wood used on most of today’s basketball courts I love creating work that’s monochromatic so

Matching the stain colors to the paint palette was super important to me I’ve been using gold resin in a lot of my recent Works to symbolize multiple things fusing together to tell a story I really wanted to highlight two tournament Legends with this piece Jaylen Brunson and Josh Hart Who between

The two of them have won three titles so to do this I chose to use a vintage trading card as the inspiration for my design in this case it represents how this tournament has bonded their stories together forever really stoked with how this piece turned out thanks again to
