Phoenix has a difficult schedule, I don’t see them doing better than 5-6 unless KD really goes sicko mode. That’s probably the best shot to move up to #8.

However it would be fucking insane if the Lakers went 7-4 and still didn’t move up, that would be a *46-win* team that was the 9 seed.

It is possible. Kings and Suns have a very difficult schedule. If Mavs beat Kings on their two games, Kings could get to a reachable position for us.

We put ourselves into this predicament by not beating the teams in front of us earlier this season.

  4. Great, gotta root for all the other teams to stumble AND root for Denver to somehow slip out of 1. The point of getting to 8 is so you can win the play in on the road and sneak up to 7

  5. ObviousTruth12

8-3 sounds realistic along with 7-4 but not expecting the team’s ahead to not win half their games. 8-3 or better should be the goal.

  6. Only hope is Phoenix shitting the bed with their schedule, which probably won’t happen

  7. Been saying that for two weeks. The games against the Suns and Kings sealed it.

  8. TorontoRaptors34

Could potentially jump up with a little luck from other teams losing Suns and Kings could fall Hous is catching up against GS

With our remaining schedule, 9-2 is very doable, but at the same time no one will be surprise if LAL goes for 6-5 either. My bet is on 8-3 + phx 5-6 trajectory. I dont think PHX can withstand their brutal remaining games without eithr KD or Booker getting hurt.

i want denver in the first round

we either beat denver or we don’t make the finals

Most realistic path is probably 8-3 and Phx go 5-6 since their schedule is tough. Unlikely to happen but that seems like the most possible path.

This is why I love the play in idea. The west is going to probably have 10 or 11 teams over .500. 7-11 is a dog fight! Each team can beat anyone on any night and maybe make a bit of a run in the post season! The parody in the league is getting crazy. Even the east has 8 teams over .500! All I know is play in lebron and ad are elite! If AD didn’t get hurt that year vs phx it was another wcf appearance and most likely a finals appearance. It’s scary but those 2 have just shown to know when to lock it in and I don’t doubt them no matter how bad things can look in the regular season

  13. I’m not saying to throw any games but if we’re pretty much guaranteed #9, I’d like to rest AD and Bron where we can

  14. Take into considerations also that the opponents of Suns, Kings and Dallas will shutdown their players in their final 2-3 games of the season.

We fucked up being 0 for 4 against the Kings for the season. That might be the season there.

We were a 9-10 team on day one with Hot Pocket Ham.

With any other reputable coach and 5-10 more wins using MF timeouts correctly we would not be talking about the play in.

    We be aight though.

If you think Silver doesn’t want a Lakers vs Warriors play in.. you haven’t been following nba basketball

You mean the best we can likely do is the 9th. We can still drop to 10 or 11
