As a Lebron fan, I hope he’s out against Memphis as well. Theres no way you play during an easy win vs. Memphis but don’t show up for the Bucks matchup. He’s seemingly missed more games ever since that “treatment” post all star break that was supposed to help him. Pretty disappointed ngl.

This has nothing to do with his ankle. Lakers just need an excuse to rest LeBron because this is a TNT game and the NBA is going to bitch about it if there isn’t a reason. Because it’s a back-to-back game, Lakers are just playing the odds that they probably lose the Bucks game but can beat Memphis.
It’s the same thing that happened when LeBron misses the Warriors game after the ASB because there was also another B2B game. Why would LeBron play in the ASG if he was truly dealing with an ankle injury? The ankle is just the excuse the Lakers are using to get the NBA to not annoy them when LeBron misses a nationally televised game.
LeDoctor Strange knows that the only way the team can beat the Bucks is him sitting.
