Before the season even began, this team was projected to basically be the ‘21 Nets with depth.
Best big 3 in the league, improvement on the wings, more size and length, sharpshooters and shot creators, and a defensive-minded coach that promised a “scrappier” team on the defensive side of the ball. This team, on paper, made a whole bunch of something out of nothing in the offseason and created what should’ve been a juggernaut team in the West.
Instead, we’re fighting for a playoff spot.
The most anticipated season in recent memory for this franchise will inevitably end in disappointment. Being frustrated would be an understatement.
