Return um but they did show Robert Covington today doing some shoot around drills uh right as he came into the Wells Fargo Center and I thought that that was really really nice and this is a guy who I know has been out since December I’ve said it before if he’s not

You want to try to not give them any sort of life I understand that they shut the lights out in the first quarter of that game against the CL Clippers and they were like Unstoppable from three at one point they were like 9 for 13 from

Downtown and I don’t know if that is going to continue into this game however there is something to be said about playing at your own home arena and having your role player step up on your own court and I think that that is something that the Sixers do have going

For them tonight and if they’re able to do it on the road why can’t you do it again this team is competing and still looking to try to get into the playoffs and stay out of the play in tournament so they’re about a game and a half

Behind the Indiana Pacers and you need to win these games and with the schedule coming up the way that it is you beat the Cavaliers twice you play them again on Friday and the two times you won were without Joel embiid you’re playing against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday um

I I think that the Sixers should go on a three- game winning streak I really do I actually believe that they can really do a good job of just making their shots and these teams that are that are in front of them that they have to play they don’t scare

Me so I think that the schedule’s now starting to lighten up you were coming off of a really hard West Coast Road Trip you had a backtack against the Sacramento Kings and that was a trap game in my opinion but no excuse for this week you need to try to get those

Right um what else do we have to talk about Tobias Harris um well the last time that he played against the Clippers he did really well he scored the first seven points for the Sixers in that first quarter ended the game having about 23 points he outplayed James

Harden and he had a really good game unfortunately though after having a great game on Sunday you follow that up on Monday night and you shoot three for 16 from the field and you just put on a another noow performance I don’t know what version of Tobias Harris we’re

Going to get tonight but I think that there’s something to be said about playing the Clippers again and it would be so nice if he could just go off if he could give you about 20 points tonight and maybe eight rebounds or so even if

He gave you 17 points I’d be happy with that it just depends on when it comes but he needs to be aggressive he needs to be in the attack mode mod and the other thing is that he needs to not feel afraid out there to go for the rebounds

Zubach as great as zubot is um the Sixers did a good job at out rebounding him specifically in the last game so if we could see more aggressive and more Angry Tobias Harris I think that that would be really nice I don’t know if you guys still have the stuck in your head

But that wide openen dunk that he missed in the last game that is still live in my memory and he needs to shake it off and he need he needs to just go out there tonight and ball that’s all he has to do but what do you think Tobias needs

To do tonight I I I’m going to say that he needs to rebound the ball really well he needs to shoot the ball really well too when he’s not doing too much when he’s not moving the basketball as much and taking like 10 steps if he’s not if

He’s not dribbling the ball and like going to the rim um on a lot of moves then he’s fine you need to have him go off in spurts and you can’t have him do too much as far as creating his own shot that type of a thing if he has his like

Old turnaround jumper that’s totally fine if you find him underneath the basket down low uh or in the dunker spot that’s totally fine too but he cannot be doing too much out there he can’t be your playmaker he can’t be your primary ball handler at some time at some points

The Sixers have really gone to him and it has been a little bit frustrating because that’s like one of the weaknesses in the offense at times uh what else do you got guys have to say I was wondering how the fan would how the fans would react to harden yeah I don’t

Just the San Antonio Spurs I remember when all that stuff happened and it was really tough because the Spurs were doing so well and even at that time that kawhai got hurt with the whole Zaza patulia injury the the the the Spurs had a chance to actually win that series and

They were up by 26 points before he went down and as soon as he went down Golden State came back and that was their rally and from that point on with all due respect to LaMarcus Aldridge and to some of the other guys that were on that team

It was just really it would have been really tough for them to come back and win that series but Kawai this season averaging about 23.8 points per game he’s also averaged about 34.2 minutes per game as well and this is another game for him where he really

Needs to be sharp if you’re the Clippers and you need him to really shoot the ball well he did have 26 points in the loss to the Indiana Pacers and he did shoot about 50% from three but just this month he’s shooting 31% from downtown

Now he is starting to get a little bit more hot from three um even though he was 1 for six versus the Sixers on Sunday afternoon um but he started off the whole month of uh of March the first five games he was shooting uh literally less than 25% from three but he’s

Starting to kind of heat up again and if you’re the Clippers you’re going to need them to score a lot of points because these are must-win games for them I’m going to take a look at the Western Conference standings really quickly for those of you that are out there that are

Interested in knowing we talk about how the Sixers are currently in the a seed and they’re four and six over their last 10 games and they’re tied with Miami but look at the Clippers you go from the fourth seed all the way down to the 10 seed I mean

It is just so close uh the Clippers are eight games above the Houston Rockets and the rockets are knocking on the door for the 10 seed so they’re knocking on the door to try to get into the play in tournament and they’re not done just yet so

Uh the Clippers they’re six and a half games out of first place but at the same time if they lose the next couple of games they could be looking at the play in tournament New Orleans is right behind them for the fifth and then Dallas New Orleans is just half a game

Behind the Clippers and then Dallas is one and a half games behind the Clippers and then you look at the Kings and the Suns they’re like two and a half games back so and the Clippers have a really tough schedule they’re playing against the magic tomorrow tonight and the magic

Have been doing really well uh uh this uh season so that’s a backto back it’s a traveling backto back for them actually sorry they play the magic on Friday but then they play Charlotte on Sunday and then they head to Sacramento head to Denver right come home versus Utah and

Then play against the Cleveland Cavaliers and then they play two games against the Phoenix Suns that’s not an easy stretch that’s a very tough schedule for them and they could easily go one and six over their next seven games which is really interesting when you just think about that from that type

This season has been able to get a lot of double doubles but unfortunately for uh for him he was not able to uh help beat the Sixers the last time that they played against them there’s tyres Maxi and the Sixers in their home uniforms with the dark blue on the front and the

White numbers and the white letters on both the front and the back Clippers are in their away uniforms with the white uh outside lining the red numbers and the blue letters on both the front and the back Lowry hands it off to U as the
