Road trip um the last two in Utah and then had to fly home to Minnesota and play backto backs against the Nuggets who were rested game landed 115 12 Denver wound up winning they laid six and a half in that game or seven and a half excuse me Timberwolves were

Without Rudy goar in that particular contest and the Nuggets held an eight npoint lead with about a minute and a half left and Minnesota came back strong down the stretch final 90 seconds to make it a three-point game actually I think had a chance to tie in that one if

I’m remembering right they put up a three and didn’t make it in the end but what it did was it evened up the season series for these two teams who are tonight playing for the number one seed in the west um you know on a daily basis Denver

Right now is the one seed half a game up on Minnesota if Minnesota wins they’ll take over the one seed if Denver wins they’ll remain in first place here so important game in the west Denver has noted um how important the number one seed is and I think the same goes for

The t-wolves Oklahoma City right in that mix as well they play Phoenix tonight I believe they’re just a half a game out of the number one spot so huge race between three teams in the same division let’s take a look at it um for a second here besides it being so very important

Let’s really quick take a look at the early morning injury list here because there’s some important names listed as questionable on the injury list here for Denver Jamal Murray who did not play in their last game still is listed as questionable for the t-wolves it’s Rudy goar and Anthony Edwards both listed as

Questionable for Edwards um it’s really been a case where he’s been on this injury report almost every single game but he goes almost every single game so I would expect Anthony Edwards to play think Jamal Murray was rested the other night so that he could go here tonight

And Rudy goette you’ll see everybody in here but do keep an eye on the injury report as the day goes on the NBA show which comes later on with the late afternoon update will help you out there as well um for me I think it’s a definite bounceback spot for Denver who

Lost here on this floor just a couple of nights ago to Phoenix in a nationally televised game nuggets did not shoot well in that contest 43.2% from the floor 25% from three and again they did not have Jamal Murray for that contest threes weren’t falling and they didn’t

Um get the W against Phoenix for Minnesota the other night it was a game against Detroit where at that they led by only two points kind of broke it open in the second half and wound up coasting home um in that particular contest this season series is going to conclude on

April the 10th you get four games out of these two so the winner tonight takes the lead in that season series again where tiebreakers are concerned it’s really important and just to look back very quickly at what happened uh 10 days ago between these teams in Minnesota

Denver shot 50 2% from the field 52% from three in that game um it really was a miracle at Minnesota came that close in that contest I think here you do see a bounceback from the Nuggets who have played with purpose since the All-Star break to secure home floor Advantage uh

Minnesota certainly defensively is a tough uh unit again though um Denver did shoot it really really well against them I think a bounceback is in store here the number sits at six and a half early morning I think Denver probably can win this one by eight plus I don’t think

They’ll give away the lead the way they did late in the fourth in Minnesota Friday night at home in altitude we’re gonna go with the nuggets in this big game breakdown minus the six and a half over Minnesota Friday best bet time and for the best bet we’re going to go to

The NBA’s hottest team right now the Houston Rockets in that extreme playoff push for the final play in number 10 seed in the western conference right now now trying to catch Golden State they’re going to go to Utah tonight and play the Jazz a team that’s been pretty much ice

Cold as of late they’ve played some good competition um couple of ways to look at this game I’m going to discuss bet Jazz team total over 111 a half um a number that’s been drastically reduced from even a couple of weeks ago where the Jazz basically at home were always in

Full game total over as well but for purposes of the best bet here I’m going to look at the Jazz team total I think that’s the more secure bet here over 11 and a half Utah once again the home average has been consistent all season long I’ve talked about it quite a bit

This year uh I think they’ve scored 123 or more in it’s like 23 of 34 home games been very very consistent at home little bit of a bounce back here when you go through their game logs you’re gonna find that Utah has now gone six of their last seven without reaching 112

Points which is what we need to cash this ticket here tonight including the other night against San Antonio where they got to 111 um some of these games though these last seven games two of those were against Minnesota a team that’s noted as the best offensive team

In the NBA two against Dallas which believe it or not last 10 games statistically the Dallas Mavericks are the second best defensive team in the NBA uh we talked a little bit about that on the show the other day how Dallas has absolutely started to shut people down

Maybe um again a little bit of having defense at the rim with Daniel Gafford and Derrik at this point in time with Dallas the number two rated defensive team over the course of the last 10 games so that’s four games out of the six where uh Utah stayed under this

Number of 111 and a half you can certainly see why playing those particular um types of defenses the one game that they did go over in their last seven over this number of 11 and a half was against these very same Houston Rockets that game was a rocket blowout

147 to 119 266 points scored um the Jazz here come in as a large Underdog certainly some of that due to the red hot streak of the rocket some of that due to the Ice Cold Play of the Jazz but as a home Underdog this year they’re

Scoring 117.5 points per game for the Houston Rockets um it’s no secret to anybody that they play with extreme pace and that pace has kind of remained the same over their last 30 Games the Rockets ranked number seven in NBA Pace ratings Tempo very extreme High Tempo

Team that’s 30 games if you narrow it down to the eight games they’ve played Without alar and shenon it’s still the number seven ranked Tempo team in the NBA so they’ve been very consistent about how quick they want to play they’ll play quick here there’ll be plenty of scoring opportunities for both

Sides as I mentioned earlier they most recent game they hit 266 so you’re going to probably see up and down action here tonight for the rocket defensively they’ve allowed 112 or better in five of their last seven that includes the other night against Oklahoma City where they allowed 112 in

Regulation we won’t even count the overtime we’ll just count regulation here they allowed 112 So five of their last seven have exceeded the number that Utah needs to score tonight I think the Jazz will do well there um real quick that Utah game the other night against

San Antonio I got bit by it I had Utah’s team total over and in that instance they scored 15 points in the first quarter very very dry first quarter for the Jazz who came back with 96 points over the course of the next three to get

To 111 um basically they need one more Point than that here tonight I feel like they can get that I’m not GNA discourage one more time anybody from playing full game over because Houston has played that way all season long but I do think you’re going to get a real good

Bounceback here from the Jazz whose three main guys still remain in that starting lineup lry marinan um John Collins and uh L Markin and John Collins and now I’m missing the third um member of that oh Collins ston excuse me guys um those three guys still remain in the

Starting lineup even though Utah has integrated some younger Parts uh giving them a lot of minutes including keay George who’s been really really good for this game though I could see it being high scoring I think the jazz is the safest play here over the 111 and a half
