I once thought the deal would be back on the table in the off-season up until that OKC Game before then The Rockets were playing lottery teams resting players with the objective to lose, even tho OKC didn’t have SGA It was still a great game and Jalen Green has definitely up his trade value beyond the point of Mikal.

It literally just can’t be more obvious. Ime is ready to win now. We need to rebuild. We can also directly threaten the value of those picks by trading for a star.

    Get it done.

If a few Nets picks come back + Jalen Green for Mikal?

I’d argue to make that trade instantly. It’s obvious that Sengun isn’t going anywhere. At least with Jalen, there’s a young guy that can create the start of the rebuild who is regarded as high potential, and build through the draft again.

Unless a Superstar asks out the most likely candidates are Mikal, Lauri, Spida, and PG if Clippers fear losing him for nothing this summer. It’s clear Ime and FO want to speed up the rebuild and use our picks to do it. (If anyone knows some other big names that could be available let me know)

    This exactly what I said.

Even if he didn’t go off immediately we could’ve kept him and flipped him next trade deadline smh

This was a big fear of mine. Houston putting the Nets draft capital, along with some of their young players on the table for a big swing

The Nets are going to be forced to trade those Suns picks and mortgage even more of their future for a Lauri, Zach Lavine, KAT, etc level mid tier star, barring a superstar asking out, just to be a low-mid 40 win team to avoid potentially handing the Rockets/OKC Cooper Flag next year and lottery picks going forward

What a disaster these last couple years have been
