The last Jazz blowout was cool, but the gritty road wins despite rough games from the team are so much more important.
Amen is just so impactful as a rookie despite his limitations. The rebounding and defense are elite and the secondary playmaking helps as well. Just does so much damage in the dunkers spot and screen and roll.
Jalen and Fred clutched up in the 2nd half. Nice to see from both the veteran leader and the growing young star. It’s even more impressive from Jalen given how quiet he was in the 1st half. Even within a slow game, he just turned it on. Great growth from him and it looks more sustainable by the game.

Fred and Dillon have been so huge this season with their leadership and toughness. Our guys don’t make a leap without them. Amen doesn’t have a relatively smooth rookie season without them.

The Jazz are obviously a bad team (albeit much better at home) but wins like these are necessary for growth. Not every win is going to be pretty. Being able to win even when you just don’t have it is the mark of a good team.
