This is why Zach went to the Front Office. As KC Johnson has cleared speculation on if Zach asked for a trade, Zach asked for changes to be made because he knows this team ain't going anywhere as constructed. And if it takes Zach having to be traded then so be it. But Zach saw this coming.
The Bulls would look like the Detroit Pistons next coming season with a bad losing record because I don't believe that Damar coming back to a sorry franchise knowing that Chicago is not going to get no better. Billy Donovan is the problem. Not Zach lavine. And it's crazy they going to get rid of him to keep Billy Donovan

If the team's gotta lose more games to get a better chance at a high draft pick? Do it!
Get rid of Vooch or bench him? Do it!
Not resign Demar, Drum, Taylor in favor of getting shooters? Do it!
Trade Lavine & LeRoy? Do it!
If he runs it back next season without doing really anything. I'm going to be done with this team until something big actually happens.
Unfortunately, I'm used to these Chicago Bulls teams being bad. Every late March it's time to look forward to the draft that doesn't occur till late June. In July free agency will come and all of the best players will avoid signing with the Bulls like the team has COVID. And, management will settle for signing an over the hill free agent that'll play well enough to endure himself into the Bulls culture but not good enough to lead the team to the playoffs.
By September it's back to renewed hope and optimism. Coby White will improve. Ayo Dosumnu will improve. Patrick Williams will improve. Dalen Terry will improve. Julian Phillips will improve. and once the season begins in late Oct all of the players mentioned above show little to no improvement until 4 or 5 mths into the regular season when playoff hopes are reduced to whether or not the team wins enough games to make it to the play-in tourney. And the cycle continues.
