wiggins last 3 games is averaging 20.0 pts 7.0 reb 3.3 ast 1.7 blk on 48/35/83 splits in 34 minutes
it’d be huge for warriors if we see this version of wiggins for the last 10 games of the season
this is why wiggins is so tantalizing yet frustrating at the same time because he has this ability and ability & if he can do this on a consistent basis at his salary it’s a really good deal for the warriors going forward at 4 years 109 million
to get a really good 2 way wing in who should be his physical prime and to only pay him 27 million per season for 4 years would be a steal imo
i think most thought that was the case when he signed a pretty reasonable and team friendly deal before the start of last season after wiggins played a huge role in the 2022 NBA title
but of course for multiple reasons that hasn’t been the case likely due to both on and off the court issues with wiggins since he signed that extension in october of 2022
again we’re not expecting wiggins to become a star or franchise saver like the wolves were hoping for as i think the warriors franchise and most warriors fans would take 16-18 points per game and good defense from wiggins for the remainder of his current deal which runs thru the 2026/27 NBA season which isn’t an unreasonable ask or expectations for wiggins
