  1. You can see how he embraces it too, he has great looks all game and that’s actually making him into a better player being able to get those looks and making good habits by taking them.

Teams thought they were onto something, they just created a 6’8 point guard monster.

Exactly the right mindset. All we need from him is to make defenses pay and that’s how he can maximise his passing to his full potential. Half the hate he got was due to being left wide open and being disrespected by opposing teams. Those suggesting he needs to be dedicated passer is just gonna make the offense predictable. He absolutely *needs* to score, but nobody is asking for 30 pts on 40% 3P every night. Just make the defense guessing, be aggressive attacking, grab rebounds and he’ll be fine. He improves on defense and he’ll be golden.

That’s the reason that kept Cason Joe and Wiggins being constantly loved even when sometimes you look at their stats it’s 10 pts or below but you watch them and it’s quality minutes 95% of the time

Fuck yeah Josh. This is growth that people don’t see. The mindset is everything in life and Josh is gonna be on kill mode mentally. Just need his skills to accommodate it. Proud of my Aussie⚡️

Shows how much he has been in his head at times this year. He really is a confidence player

Where are the Giddey naysayers who were adamant that he was the worst player on the team with no ability to develop his jumpshot and general play? Genuinely curious where tf are they, haven’t seen them for a while….

High effort team defender (as opposed to high skill, highly athletic), glue guy on offence with average shooting could be a great 4th-6th option IF he’s willing to be paid as that level of player.

I really hope he can continue improving because at 6’9, if he can become a better defender(he is definitely showing a lot of effort now) and be able to shoot off the dribble/spot up at league average, he will be tremendous.
I really feel like he can add a lot more muscle and change his game a little to become more of a connective playmaking wing. Like a less defense, more playmaking version of Pippen.

Please note, I said version of Pippen, not saying Giddey should become a top 75 player all time. Lol
