Watching a whole lot more of college hoops I’ve been really starting to fall in love with a couple of these prospects that should be entering the NBA draft and I want to talk about five specific ones that I think would be great fits with the Chicago Bulls roster but before

We dive into to that I’m going to give you guys five names I just want you guys to give me one name who do you want the Chicago Bulls to draft let me know Down Below in the comment section it could be an international player could be

Somebody in the G League or you know obviously a college star but let me know give me some names on who you want the Bulls to draft but we’re going to start off today’s show talking about Reed Shepard Reed Shepard is the guard that played for Kentucky this past season and

He had a solid year he averaged 12 and a half points a game 4.1 rebounds 4 and a half assists and he was incredibly efficient from the field and from downtown shooting 53.6% from the field and 52.1% from downtown also shot 83% from the three-point line and also almost

Average a block per game and two and a half Steals and you know my automatic comp I had for Reed Shepard was actually bulls Legend Kirk Hinrich and I know I and I kind of know what you guys might be saying right now is like oh the Bulls

Don’t need another guard and I get that like the Bulls are kind of loaded in the back court because because of um you know obviously Kobe white I dumo you know their kind of emergence this season you may not think the bull should add another guard but I think if you would

Have a three-man rotation or a fourman rotation at the one and two with Lonzo coming back next season if you going Kobe white IO Reed Shepard Lonzo ball you just got like just a bunch of winning basketball players in there and that’s what I like so much about him

Anytime I’ve turned on Kentucky this season he just plays within the offense doesn’t try to force anything and this wouldn’t be a pick where it’s like oh you’re expecting him to you know change your franchise and him to be the franchise guy no this would be a pick

Where it’s like it will help the Bulls get better on the margins it would just be a guy that can you know fit into a system very very well and that’s what he can do and you know the thing I love about Reed sheeper is just you know I’ve

Talked about his efficiency already but like he just doesn’t try to force anything and you know I think a lot of times with these freshman that are going to Kentucky and you know they big time recruits and you know they always try to just kind of try to get theirs instead

Of playing within the offense but I think as a young kid at 19 years old he already looks like a veteran you know in the NBA in the way he plays on offense so I think he would be a great pickup for the Chicago Bulls but he wouldn’t be

My favorite name out of the list I’m going to give you guys today just because yes I don’t think it would be terrible to add another guard to this rotation but you know I just think the Bulls could go you know somewhere else now number two it’s actually another

Another guard here his name is Stefon Castle the guard out of Yukon he is a freshman playing for the Huskies who if you guys have been watching March Manis it’s looking more and more likely that yukon’s going to go back to back after they just blew out San Diego State last

Night but ston Castle he reminds me a whole lot of a guy like RJ Barrett and you know he’s got really good size 6 foot6 and he hasn’t really you know splashed this year in college basketball just because he’s been playing in the Yukon you know offense is kind of

Fitting in he hasn’t really tried to you know take over games he’s just been a good piece on a great team and you know I’ve kind of seen a trend in the NBA over the last couple Seasons like start looking at these guys that really start working out right away they come from

Great college basketball programs like I think of a guy like haime hakz last year for the Miami Heat um you know like he was just so good in college and a lot of people thought like he was already at his potential and didn’t think he could

Go to another level here in the NBA well he did with the Miami Heat and I think Castle is the same way just in a freshman form and you know I think he could be a guy where you know we don’t see his max potential of his game just

Because he’s been fitting in with a Yukon team and hasn’t been able to or hasn’t been asked to do you know too too much so I think C would be a great name for the Bulls six foot6 great size can handle the ball I think he’d be a great

Two guard three guard maybe um for this Bulls team but those are two guards and Reed Shepard and Stefon castle where if the Bulls want to go that route I would not be upset about it at all but I got three more names and they’re all Big

About the best player in the nation here um to start off the last three names Zack Edy um big fellow for Purdue and you know he’s actually got the highest points per touch in college basketball history so every time you know you throw him the ball he has the highest point

Output out of that um whatever set it is whether it’s a post up or he’s popping or whatever it may be he is the most efficient player in college basketball history and you know the thing I love most about Edie you know he’s 7 foot4 he’s super quick when he’s making his

Moves like he’ll get the ball on the post and and obviously you know every team’s game plan is to double team him once he gets the ball he goes so quick just gets to that right jump hook and he knocks it down and you know the biggest

Question around Ed is like will his game translate to the next level that’s obviously the biggest kind of concern here because he’s 7 foot4 doesn’t really move his feet too too well laterally but I think he could actually work out I think he could be a great rotational big

In the NBA and a comparison I have for him is a guy like zubac you know obviously he’s not or zubac is not as big as him and maybe Ed doesn’t you know excuse me move as well as a guy like zubac does but the way they play zubac’s

Super quick super quick processor and overall he fights defensively and that’s the thing with Edy is like yes he may not be you know he may get picked on his first couple years with guards switching or him switching on the guards they put him on island try the iso ball and just

Attack him and he’s going the struggle but I think just his overall size in presence like I think he’s just going to work and I know we haven’t seen these 7 foot4 guys coming out you know necessarily translate too well but I just have a feeling with Edie that like

He won’t be as bad defensively as we think and I think he would just be such a force offensively just because of his size his great touch he get that little push shot going in the lane I think he would be a great kind of pick up for the

Bulls and you know maybe he wouldn’t start year one but man you take him at 14 I actually wouldn’t hate it at all even though he’s supposed to be going you know late first early second right now but Zack I think I’m a bigger fan of

Him than most people in terms of of his game translating but another big F we’re going to talk about Donovan kingan here he’s the center for the Yukon Huskies in his sophomore season um Clingan is he’s an interesting Prospect to me because he is huge seven foot move his feet really

Really well I think he could actually be a great defender at the next level he’s a sneaky good rim protector it doesn’t give enough credit for being a rim protector but the one thing that concerns me about kinging is his touch around the rim it just isn’t there and

You know obviously that’s could be something that you could develop but like he he’s almost like a streaky shooter as a big which is super weird like he’ll have games where he’s knocking down that push shot at 100% And he’s on fire but then I was watching him

Against San Diego State last night and you know he just couldn’t get anything to fall and you know you’re going to have that you’re going to have games like that happen but the thing I do like about him is even when his shots aren’t falling he’s impacting the game in other

Ways so I wanted to tell you guys about clinging I think he’s a guy that you know for the Bulls he would be a great option but let’s round out the show with possibly my favorite option for the Chicago Bulls and that’s Cody Williams Cody Williams he’s actually younger

Brother of Jaylen Williams the good Jaylen Williams on the Oklahoma City Thunder and he is just a typical Wing Defender man um he reminds me a lot of Jaden McDaniels on the Minnesota Timberwolves um I think it could be you know that type of three and D wing and I

Think that’s what the Bulls need I think he would be the best roster fit for this group because you know you got your guards and Kobe white and I would assuma for the future you just need to get that three for the future and I think that

Could be Cody Williams he plays his ass off he plays hard he you know he missed a big time shot in the round of 32 to potentially have Colorado you know beat the Marquette Golden Eagles obviously didn’t end up going in but I thought he played great that game and he

Just plays his ass off he’s always hustling and I think he could be a guy he is a true freshman coming out so I think it could be something where he just you you kind of just let him develop and you don’t really Rush his

Process and you know I’d be a big fan of him and plus I’m always you know I’m always encouraged by players when they have either their family members already in the league because I think they just know more about it they know what it takes and you know jayen Williams his

Success in the league you know I’m not saying Cody Williams could you know be that but man I mean he’s same blood in that body so I would take a chance on Cody Williams but those were five stars that I wanted the Bulls to draft just
